What is more important to you in a song? This question came to my mind again because I remembered a statement by a girl from my class...she said some years ago... we were somehow talking about songs in class and she said she only listens to the lyrics...that these are the most important to her... in my case I have to say that I first of all listen to the tune and especially how it is presented.... sometimes a song doesn't even need lyrics for me..if the tune and the way it is presented is strong and good enough.... hehe...but if the song has some cheesy lyrics then of course the whole song is crap...I would say...

Record company EMI Music has announced plans to license its entire US digital catalogue to a file-sharing network. Music fans will be able to try-out and then buy music from EMI artists on legal peer-to-peer service Mashboxx, which is currently in development. I was given an iPod as a birthday gift a couple of years ago. Immediately, I fell in love with it, and it revolutionised my listening habits. It looks good, it is easy to use, and my particular model stored 5,000 songs, about half of my CD-based music collection. But my love affair quickly turned sour. Over time, I have experienced various problems with the iPod and iTunes, some of which are listed after the jump. Do you guys from all the different countries- Germany, France, Russia and what not, do u ever listen to local music. Like songs by your local artists that sing in your language. Because once it seemed to me that only the foreign song seemed to do reallly well amongst the ppl in the last couple of years I find the israeli music inndustry really thriving. I myself listen to many songs in hebrew, and it's like the foreign music industry is way too commercial... how is it where u live?
