Hey everyone, just got my first electric guitar, an Epiphone Les Paul-100 with a Line 6 Spider IV amp, 75 watt. Ive been trying to get a similar sound to chris' guitar on warning sign, but i cant seem to nail it. Any suggestions? im using clean preset, slight delay, medium reverb, rythym, and slight bass boost... getting close but not quite there....

So does anybody know how to play that one on the piano? or maybe there's a sheet somewhere?

Hey guys. I was wondering what heads Will uses. I know he uses Remos. I saw on on one pic that all of this heads are coated except for his bass head. Also I want to know the resonant head for his bass.

hi everyone I just started learning to play piano, now it's been around 6 months because I am a fan of Coldplay, I really want to be able to play at least one of their songs :D do you have any suggestions what I should play? please suggest the simple ones, because I think I can't play the hard ones (yet) :laugh3:

Okay I've just broken my hand...has anyone here ever done this? How long did it take to get back to playing guitar? Did you ever? I'm at a total loss as to how long this is going to need - I used to play 4 - 6 hours a day and I don't want to learn right-handed because I'm totally uncoordinated :dozey:

Hello. I am sorry if a thread has been posted like this before, but I have been searching and cant seem to find a good answer. So my question is, what are the steps I should do to paint my acoustic guitar? Do I have to sand it first? I have an Ibanez and its a good guitar. I have looked on the internet and some people have said that it ruins the guitar's sound, and others have said it hasnt. So what I basically want to know is what did Vicki do to piant Chris' guitars? So I've been wanting a guitar like Matt Bellamy's, but the easiest way for me to get one would be to make it. However, I began to think realistically, and realized I should start smaller. I'm already planning on making a lapsteel, what are other good projects for beginners? Thanks!

Hi! Me and my band in school are going to play "Lovers In Japan" But I've got problem finding a decent tab for it, so I had to work it out myself. But there is still one riff i can't figure out. alright i came across this video on youtube. It's coldplays cover of "Can't get you out of my head" from kylie minogue. I think it actually isnt half bad. Does anyone have tabs for this??? Ok, so with my upcoming departure from my band, thus will begin the hunt for new musicians. In the time being, I will stick with a solo acoustic project. I don't plan to go straight into another band, but what are some good ways to find musicians? Btw, facebook doesn't count as a place. It didn't work the first few times, so I doubt it will end well again.

So my band had "practice" (3/4 practice, for the second time :thinking: ). This time, instead of 2 guitarists and a bassist, we had a power trio. We all got along fine, but one problem was that all my band mates wanted to do was Blink-182 and Green Day. :angry: Not that I don't like those bands (well, I sorta not like blink), but I wanted to do some other stuff, and tried to encourage them to play some Muse. All of the members are capable of that music, but my bassist refuses to because he thinks that "Muse is gay." Of course, right after he said that, Uprising started playing on our drummers iPhone. Hello! Some of you already know me... my first post ever here was: Start to play the bass! Well there's been nearly 3 months since I start, so I think it's time to start a new threat more general... So I've been getting VERY into Muse. I've been looking for a guitar that sounds like Mansons, but I can do a lot of other stuff on. I'm also thinking of getting a KAOSS pad, would a Les Paul be suitable?
