yer i dont really mind the all american rejects apart from there name sucks a bit, but as punk music goes they are quite good

modern 'punk' music is pretty shitty. as in completely shitty :P Ash are meant to be punk-pop though, and they are BRILLIANT :D

HA fucking HA. You can't be fucking serious. If you want to lead a serious discussion on punk rock, you can't base your opinion on the matter on artists such as ms. Lavine.

 

As for "the punk trend".. All subcultures will from time to time be embraced by the mainstream, they will take parts of it and make it their own. But they will of course not "convert", which means that what you see on MTV isn't really that subculture, but the mainstream's interpretation or whatever (it's late in the night and I couldn't think of a better word) of it.
