June 25, 200520 yr Batman Begins - 8/10 although Gary Oldman was TOTALLY miscast! Phantom of the Opera (2004) - 6/10
June 25, 200520 yr Author Does this have to be for new films? If you check on this thread the films i rated, are old too, because i don't use to go to the cinema very often so i usually watch films at home. :) Yah, they don't have to be new movies, thanks for asking though.
June 25, 200520 yr 8.9/10 thought the only thing that really brought the movie down was katie holmes, i think they could have written a better character role in there better, and also wasn't bruce wayne supposed to be sukly not a playboy?... as his alter identity, dunno. but was still awesome
June 25, 200520 yr "Heroines" in these sorts of movies are often "wasted", though, don't you think? Kirsten Dunst wasn't exactly prominent in Spiderman. I was just glad that Katie was in the movie at all!! :P
June 25, 200520 yr i dunno when i just think of what she just told him at the end thats just what seems miswritten, or written badly how she is so unable and gives no alternative. sounds really bad
June 25, 200520 yr The "superheroes" very rarely get the girl (Superman apart, perhaps?). It's the price they pay for their indescructibility!! Anyway.....................Tom wanted her back!! :P
June 26, 200520 yr Star Wars Episode III. 8/10. It's alright. Better than the first two, but there's just something about it that doesn't make it SUPER UBER SPECTACULAR. The end is the bestest part of the movie, when Darth Vader walks up and the Emperor and Governor tarken are there watching the Death Star being built.
June 26, 200520 yr That's what I thought of Star Wars III - best of the new ones, but still not a patch on 4, 5 and 6!
June 26, 200520 yr hold on: 3 posts in a row. starting with: girl with a pearl earring 8/10 but the book is better (as always) and scarlett johansson is one of the few actresses of her age who doesn't appear in 'things' like american pie
June 26, 200520 yr following 9/10 the first movie by christopher nolan (director of memento, insomnia & batman begins) shot in black and white, and only about 70 minutes long!!and apparently mr nolan already liked non chronological order storytelling before memento...
June 26, 200520 yr one hour photo 8/10 from the director of coldplay's speed of sound video! quite underrated movie in my opinion, great performance by robin williams
June 26, 200520 yr The Battleship Potemkin (1925) 9/10 i don't agree a lot with the ideology they used but i must recognize that is one of the best films in History. ;) Eisentein is one of the best films directors ever, at least was a pioneer. :)
June 26, 200520 yr Bezhin lug (1937) 6/10 Another Sergei M. Eisenstein movie, as unfortunately the film was damaged on a war now we only have some scenes and without the original movement it had, so it lost a lot of things... and i don't agree with the ideology too but... :/ but it's good too. :)
June 27, 200520 yr Well that's a relief - 'cos "Dude" has to go down as one of the most UNfunny films of all time. It sucked!! A film for amoebas only!! :)
June 28, 200520 yr Batman Begins 9/10 Great movie! Very ingrossing plot and characters. I liked it a lot more than Spiderman etc... :D
