^no, that scene wasn't in the book. They made it up and added it to kind of clarify parts of the plot for people who have never read the books, I think.

 

incidentally, why do people pre-order tickets? I've gone to movies at their premiers and never seen sold-out tickets....what's the point of pre-ordering? :confused:

 

My friends and I are going to a theater 30 minutes away because we tried buying tickets last week and they were completely sold out everywhere else. :uhoh:

i don't think they would either :shrug: it's a major part of the final book, so if anything they'll probably hire older actors to portray them--the trio-- for that portion.

its already been confirmed the prologue will be in the movie, and they aren't hiring older actors, the current cast will portray their older selves, presumably with tons of make-up and digital stuff.

I'm pretty sure they'll be able to do a good job with that, and I prefer that they use the current cast anyways during that final scene :)
