THE **I LOVE HARRY POTTER** THREAD

As for the news, I wonder if the Century Theaters around here are showing the same thing, because they have something called "Cinemark First Look" before movies, and they usually show similar things to this. I'll have to check it out and see if the ones around here like Harry Potter... I'm so excited for this movie!

I do not have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I've acquired over a long career, skills to help stop people like you. I will find you, and I will kill you.:cool2:

Liam Nissan you dog:rolleyes:

Well, for more news. Daniel Radcliffe's last performance of Equus was today. Rupert Grint's latest non HP film project "CherryBomb" premiered today... and Emma Watson attended the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) awards alongside Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) and Brendan Gleeson (Mad-Eye Moody), where she presented an award seen here...

Emma Watson dreads her first on screen kiss with Rupert Grint

When the stars of Harry Potter begin filming this month expect some awkward on set tension between Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.

For Mandrake can disclose that both actors are already panicking about their first screen kiss between their characters Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Speaking at the Bafta ceremony Watson, 18, tells me that she is terrified of pairing up with her 20 year-old co-star of eight years, despite the best efforts of Daniel Radcliffe, 19, to reassure her.

"Well I've never had to do it before so I can't say I have any techniques," she says. "I've never had to kiss anyone on screen so it is all new to me.

"Of course I am nervous about it. But, apparently it gets quite boring after a couple of takes, that's what Dan said to me anyway."

Meanwhile, off screen Watson was not short of male attention at the Grey Goose afterparty at the Grosvenor House Hotel and spent much of the evening

in the company of Jamie Dornan, a model who used to date Keira Knightley.

Mandrake revealed last month that Grint is also concerned about the impending kiss despite doing a graphic nude scene in his recent film Cherrybomb.

"As I've known Emma for so long, I reckon it will be 10 times worse,'' he said.

"I really love the seventh book, but there is no way it will be tame with the Hermione stuff.''

The actor claimed he fills in crosswords to ease the awkwardness between takes and will bring "a stack of crosswords" to the Harry Potter set.

EDIT: I'd be willing to dye my hair red and be his kiss-double, you know, give her someone to practice with first:rolleyes:

 aww, how cute.

BTW I came across Ginny Weasley again today. Turns out she's in one of my classes that didn't start until today. Took me a half-hour to realize she was in the seat just front of me.

I'm starting to feel like a stalker! :stunned:

Ask her if she knows Emma Watson:rolleyes:

So Nick, are you done with GOF yet? If not, where? I'm feeling book discussiony! :smash:

not a twilight fan?

:P

Never read them

According to Stephen King, Stephanie Meyer is a terrible writer, but he's no Shakespeare himself:dozey:

Can't say I've read much Stephen King, but my Dad did lend me a book of his short stories, and they were terrific. Objectively he's probably better than both authors in certain respects. I mean most of his stuff isn't my cup of tea, but I definitely respect the guy.

I may be a hypocrite for not having read twilight, but I haven't liked anything I've heard/read about them. Considering the fanbase, the plot overviews, and the consistently poor reviews of the book and of Stephanie Meyer, it doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Stephen King is the master of short stories, and the master of novel let-downs. His novels are ridiculously long and build up and build and build up, and then have the stupidest most disappointing endings ever.

haha

I enjoyed davinci code:embarassed:

*looks at other pages*

emma watson :wideeyed:

At least that is only a few hundred pages. King's novels are usually near a thousand.

I confess I never read the Da Vinci code. my family did, and they were kind of so-so on it.

I have not read it either

I wrote my freshman year book report on it by copying the description on the back of the book:lol:

Sorry! I was out for the last hour. Here are the latest...
