I don't think they're photoshopped (except for the animated one of course). The first was a real promo pic for Equus, and the one with Rupert is a still from his recent film "Cherrybomb". They're different girls in each pic, just so you know. :P

It looks so crappy and they aren't even looking properly in place.

Cool.

What'd you think of the way the tasks were portrayed in the movies? When I first saw it I was ticked that the first and third tasks were so different. Now I'm a little more lenient, although the first task wasn't shot that well.

The way Harry and the crowd reacted to the dragon was poorly done I thought. The second task was really awesome, but I was dissapointed not to see any creatures in the maze, and it kind of annoyed me that the maze stretched on for miles when in the book it was limited to the quidditch pitch.

Harry Potter Stars Visit Stuntman in Hospital

Actor Daniel Radcliffe made a sobering visit to the hospital yesterday to visit his stunt double, David Holmes, who suffered spinal injuries while rehearsing for the latest Harry Potter movie, says UK paper The Daily Mail.

Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the series of movies, accompanied Daniel to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London to support the stuntman, who fell to the ground on Jan. 28 while practicing a flying scene for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.

The actors appeared shaken upon leaving the hospital, and with due cause – Holmes has been Daniel's body double for all of the Harry Potter movies, and the injuries to his spine could cause paralysis.

Daniel, who was in NYC at the time of the accident, has spoken highly of his double before, calling him an amazing gymanst and saying, I do the majority of the stunts but there are some where it’s too high a risk."

Cool.

I completely agree.

The second task was almost exactly how I imagined it, and the first task wasn't THAT far off from what I imagined, but the way they portrayed the third task just ruined the movie for me. There were no creatures, the maze was too large and finished too quickly, etc. And, speaking of the way they portrayed things in that movie... the quidditch world cup was the worst portrayal EVER. I won't even go into how disappointed that bit made me. :P

^really? The quidditch part was one my favorite parts of the movie, since it was my favorite in the book. They went over-the-top a bit with the mega-screen effects. But it wasn't much different than the way I had hoped.

Steffan Rhodri cast as Reg Cattermole in Deathly Hallows

steffanrhodri.jpg The Chester Chronicle is reporting that Steffan Rhodri, an actor known for his work on the BBC show Gavin and Stacey as of late, will be playing Reg Cattermole in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. They have a small quote from Rhodri expressing his excitement:

“I’ll be filming in London during the autumn,” he said. “I’m really looking forward to it, it’s the biggest film I’ve been involved with.”

You can read the full interview right here.

Wasn't much climax, it happened really quickly so it wasn't sad at all.

I kind of like how she did that sometimes. By being very blunt, it makes you surprised at first, and takes a while for it to really sink in. After all death in real life never pauses for dramatic reflection, it just happens. I liked what she did in DH, where she spends a lot of time talking about the sad death of Hedwig and especially Hedwig. But from then on, the death's don't have quite the same impact. By the end Harry's so desensitized that he hardly thinks twice about Lupin and Tonks being killed.

Yea I guess. Still Dumbledore's death was by far the saddest thing I have ever read. Second place perhaps going to Boromir's death in Lord of the Rings

What about Voldemort's death??

What about Voldemort's death??

Well that goes without saying:dozey:
