October 17, 200916 yr The Damned Utd - David Peace. Because I can't get to see the movie in the theatres because it's not going to be released here.
October 25, 200916 yr I'm reading all the Sherlock Holmes adventures. They're fantastic. Then I'll be moving to 'Dear John', by Nicholas Sparks.
October 29, 200916 yr just finished The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by one of the Brontes, and now starting Persuasion by Jane Austen. am feeling in a classics mood for some reason
October 29, 200916 yr The secret diary of Adrian Mole, aged 13 3/4. It's for younger kids than I am, but Adrian is quite a touching little chap.:nice:
October 29, 200916 yr Notes From the underground - Dostoyevsky Really short, and could finish by tonight if it weren't for you people!
October 30, 200916 yr STILL reading Hopscotch, by Julio Cortazar (I am making quite a bit of progress on it, really). It's such a lovely book that I'm glad it's taking me so long to get through it; I don't want to have to finish it anytime soon.
October 30, 200916 yr I'm trying my best to read New Moon lol, but I can't seem to get past the first chapter... I think Twilight is sooo overrated, but I figured if I never tried I'd never know haha. I'm also reading Slaughterhouse 5, which has some nice philosophical bits in it.
October 30, 200916 yr Just finished Dear John, by Nicholas Sparks. Ehh, it was okay. Sad, kind've abrupt ending.
October 31, 200916 yr I'm reading all the Sherlock Holmes adventures. They're fantastic. Then I'll be moving to 'Dear John', by Nicholas Sparks. I read Dear John it was good... i don't want to stop you from reading it but it was a little depressing

November 5, 200916 yr just finished The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by one of the Brontes, and now starting Persuasion by Jane Austen. am feeling in a classics mood for some reason  How was the Bronte book? The only one I've read that I've liked so far is Jane Eyre, which I loved. Could never get into Wuthering Heights... should probably give it another try. Also have never read Persuasion, but Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice are among my all-time favorites. I'm re-reading Love in the Time of Cholera.
November 8, 200916 yr Also have never read Persuasion, but Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice are among my all-time favorites. I love Persuasion. Think it's the best Austen book! At the moment I read "A Fraction of the Whole" by Toltz. Quite funny. ;)
