The Lights video was really weird - I want one with the band playing, those are better! :)

 

Crimewaves I look forward to, but I CANNOT wait until I see them this coming tuesday!

 

Just so happens the band hates that kind of video! lol they'd rather all their videos be like the Evil vid. They just think is redundant to keep playing over and over and over.. lol take after take. But I prefer to see them as well.. any time to see the loverly Paul and Daniel on screen is a bonus for me!! :laugh3: :wink3:

-I'm actually gonna catch them at the House of Blues in Orlando this Thursday and then again on Saturday in Miami :D I could not be more excited about this!!!! :dance: I haven't seen them live since Sept. 2007 at Madison Square Garden!!! That was epic for me as well..... I was front row!!!!! :o Good times... good times!

it isn't officially out, but i have listening to the leak and it is amazing i think. such a dark album

somehow I'm liking the live versions better than the album :/ BUT I'm diggin it. Yes, I agree with Will here... probably their darkest yet, very atmospheric! Paul's sexy voice doesn't fail! :wink3:

I agree with 100% BUT since the band was streaming it.. I decided to give it a quick listen this morning lol BUT today when I came home, I was greeted by a package from Matador :dance: my album came a whole week early before the official release.. :) I'm listening right now :) :dance:

I know what you mean.... I haven't heard the whole thing through.... listening now, but no song has struck me yet the way TYOAC did on Antics... nor NYC on TOTBL....

 

I thought it would be Summer Well.. but I much rather the live version.. :/

Lights still does stand out for me.

 

I am interested in hearing the 2 bonus tracks that are coming out with this. That'll add more to the album at the end, but when Paul croons "chasing my damage" and it echos in "The Undoing" it gives me definite chills

So far I'm really meh about it. I guess I'll have to give it a second listen.

I really miss TOTBL and the way those songs just sounded so groundbreaking. I think this album is a step better than OLTA though.
