It snow a bit here in NY on Saturday morning... but it melted by the afternoon :/ not alot..

i knew it was a brit when i saw this thread!!!!! it was snowing here too and it was all heavy but it stopped now :( trust it to rain all day :shifty:

It was sooo not snowing today.. :D actually it's quite nice right now... has been drizzling the past couple of days.

i wish it would just be cold here. i'm wearing my sweater and it's like 75 out. good grief.

idk, i just like colder weather.

and i was trying to get that Interpolesque look today with my sweater. it came of very nicely might i add. :cool:

you know what I love about the snow...

 

 

in a snowstorm.. that occurs overnight.. and I wake up to find everything covered in white... and then my boss calls me and says.. 'no work today, snow day' woooooo hoooo! I love those days.. I go out and play in the snow.. jump into piles of the fluffy stuff.... I'm a kid all over again.. :)

 

I can't wait for the first snow storm.. *sighs*

I built a snowman in germany early in the year while Jessy was at uni...a 26 year old guy pushing a ball of snow around...mustve hought i was mad...but the fact is, where i grew up in Gloucester UK..i saw like 3 snowstorms in 19 years...it sucked..Wales and Birmingham got all our snow..by the time it got to us it melted.

Today was a great day. It was cloudy, but hell, it was 8 degrees. 8 degrees is good times here.

The coldest it has ever gotten in Montreal was -44 with the windchill. You go outside and your eyelashes freeze. :confused:

windchill is pretty bad here too.

 

i've never had my eyelashes freeze, but i have had my hair freeze if i took a shower right before going out.

Yeah, that happens quite often here. During the winter, i shower at nights just to avoid that.

 

Last year's winter was pretty nasty. I was walking to school on a -37 day or something, and my knees buckled and I fell to the ground. :lol:
