I didn't like 12 memories that much...I think The invisible band was awesome.....for me the songs on 12 memories sound all the same :confused:

Yes, they have been working on a new album.

I'm guessing it will be released either very late this year, or very early next year.

 

And '12 Memories' was a very poor album.

Definitely the weakest Travis album so far (although it contains some very nice songs)

I liked most of the songs on 12 Memories although I really don't like Paperclips, but one of my fav Travis songs ever is Re-offender along with U16 Girls and The Cage. Anyways I thought you guys might like a little taster of the new album. I posted this in earlier thread, its a song of the new album called Closer. Travis have been playing it at their gigs recently. No worries :) The only thing I have heard about the new album, is that Ben Stiller makes an appearance on it as he is a huge Travis fan, apperently.

I listened to 12 memories and another songs of them but for me "Love will come through" is their best song. It is so wonderful... Moreover, I saw them (on the TV) at Live 8 singing "Sing" and they looked so dreamers ;) and this really like me!

Travis rock. Seen them live twice and they were awesome both times, infact my first time was exactly a year ago today. :D Travis are my joint favourite band along with a certain other band. I'll leave you to guess who that is. :rolleyes: :lol:

^^ well, I used to like "flowers in the window" but I wasnt really a fan... and when I found out they will be here in Mexico, I tried an won a couple of tickets... so I went... it was fantastic!!!! they were lovely and fran and all the band seemed to be very happy to be here... he said a lot of thanks and wonderful things on all the concert and even my friend, who didnt know anything about them, said at the finish: that´s just the way the rockstars should be...

the place sounded excelent, they sang all my favorites, specially "why does it alwasy rain on me"... and the humpty dumpty love song... and well, after that, I´m just a fan.. . :smug:

I'm not a super fan of Travis, but they like me and their lyrics songs are cool and also his kind of music. It's nice that a band be so pleasant with the public and says wonderful things to them. :P
