yup i'm an only child, as far as i can see it's different cos it isn't like 'the kids' and 'the parents', we're just a jumbled up trio :P so when i was younger i sometimes got upset if my rents went somewhere and i couldn't come as i saw us as a 'team' so to speak :rolleyes:

The reason I ask is because of that very example. My friend is an only child and one thing I immediately notice is that the dynamic between parent and child is radically different.

it's something i've noticed too with my friends who have siblings. craziness :dizzy: it also got a bit boring sometimes cos i had no siblings to play with (although i did have friends), especially on holiday in the pool or whatever. but it is how it is :cool:

i was the younger untill 2002, when a new pretty girl came in my dad's life.

can't imagine what it's not like to have siblings.

hah i know a big family...i can't remember how many kids there were...7 or 8, not sure (maybe even more) all 2 years apart and it was boy girl boy girl always. and their dad is like 27 years older then the mom.
