July 6, 200322 yr Hey, The Edge is amazing at guitar. And the best stuff the band has ever released (the stuff from the 80's) all had more of The Edge's amazing guitar work on it. I think it will be great!
July 6, 200322 yr It's odd. The Edge said that he was the "guitar anti-hero", but now he's becoming the guitar hero to a whole new generation. His 80's stuff rocked....so did the riff from "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" Ah. Love that song.
July 6, 200322 yr Oh man, when I was really young and saw that movie. I heard that song and LOVED it. I found out it was actually U2 a year ago. haha. Edge's guitar in that song is fabulous! Though, I do believe the best guitar work he's ever done was on Pride (In the name of love), or Where The Streets Have No Name.
July 6, 200322 yr Oh. I can't listen to the opening of "Streets" without getting chills. *sigh* If only I could borrow The Edge's talent for a day....
July 6, 200322 yr u play guitar? I bet ur great! yea, I would love to be able to play guitar like Edge.
July 6, 200322 yr Me? Great? HA! If great means knowing about 3 chords, and playing them over and over and over, then yes. I'm the next Eric Clapton, thank you.
July 6, 200322 yr hahah. well you get better over time. Nobody starts off amazing at guitar. It doesn't work that way.
July 6, 200322 yr my fav U2 songs... July 6, 200322 yr "One" is great. Have you ever heard "Electric Co." or "Trash, Trampoline, and the Party Girl" ?
July 6, 200322 yr The video for Electrical Storm's a bit odd though. The hell is up with that deer in it?
July 6, 200322 yr Have you ever heard "Electric Co." or "Trash' date=' Trampoline, and the Party Girl" ?[/quote'] no and no thanks.
July 6, 200322 yr It should be released around Christmas. That's just a rumour though. Rumour also has it that the next tour for U2 may very well be the last one. :(
July 6, 200322 yr no! Oh, man....now I *have* to get tickets. I'm already kicking myself for missing out on ZooTV and Elevation...
July 6, 200322 yr U2 has had a GREAT run. they've been at the top of their game for a long...long time. They've managed to stay together since they formed in 1976. I missed out on the Elevation tour. ANd I am NOT going to miss out on the next one! haha
July 6, 200322 yr Yep. Even if I have to sneak into the next concert, I'm going. [lol, anyone up for organizing a break-in with me?]
