Yes, but you should have subscribed by yesterday, tough in Europe the pre-sale cose allowes you to buy only 4 tickets for 1 show, while in the US 4 tickets for max 4 shows

 

So its too late to subscribe and get the pre-sale code?

Anyway GA for Milan is 105€ considering pre-sale, additional costs, and delivery...and Paul McGuinness said GA should be 55$..W.T.F. ? :angry:

I'm going to try and go to the Boston show. Any idea how fast stadiums sell out? I know last tour it was ridiculous trying to get tickets for arenas.

From what I understand based on the email and from the U2.com forum, pre-sales are divided into three groups, based on seniority.

 

Horizon - Those people who've had a paid membership before Nov. '08

Breathe - Those people who bought membership between November '08 - March 8, 2009

Boots - Those with paid memberships after March 8,2009.

 

Horizon and Breathe groups will be able to get presale tickets on the first and second days, respectively. Then after that, Boots group. So, you can still get a presale code but you won't be able to use it for the first 2 days of presales. Seeing as these are stadium concerts though, in general you can still get fairly good seats. But you mentioned going to Boston...that's probably one of the most packed shows I think.

Yeah...hmmmm don't know what I'll do.

 

If I can't get to Boston, I can always try Toronto. But I would prefer Boston.

Hmmm...I'm "scheming some scheme" right now...I can buy up to 4 tickets for up to 4 shows...I'll have to wait until I know when the presales are and if there are actually friends of mine who'd like to see U2 with me..

I also agree that the most moving song they ever made was Mothers Of The Disappeared. My favourite song last week was a toss up between Magnificent and Sunday Bloody Sunday. At the moment I'm loving New Year's Day. Any song on The Joshua Tree is unbelievable, it's so hard to choose my favourite from it. Overall I can't really choose. One week it's I Still Haven't Found...., With Or Without You, One, Bullet The Blue Sky, The Unforgettable Fire, City Of Blinding Lights..... so hard. Best album though is The Joshua Tree, followed by War or Atomic Bomb.

Oct. 25th...one week after my 21st birthday and getting totally hammered legally!

The Rose Bowl sounds stellar, but since it's L.A., it's gonna fill up quick, so I hope my foolish lack-of-earlier-subscription isn't gonna bite me too hard.

Gonna have to talk to my friend about this, who I'm making pay for this since I was the one who plopped down money for Coldplay.

^ I like that idea about the getting the idea of the color grey.

 

It definitely comes through to me to. That's really part of the reason I don't love this album (remember folks, love is different than like. I do like this album).

 

The best albums for me are the one's that seem full of color and light. This album seems very dreary. Just look at the Linear film that accompanies it to see that the album is very grey.

 

It's not a terrible thing, but I guess this album reminds me a lot of winter or dreary parts of the year. Whereas, say a Viva la Vida exudes summer and spring. ATYCLB is another album that exudes summer and spring. Think Beautiful Day, Kite, Wild Honey, New York, Walk On. All have a life about them.

 

I would say NLOTH is more of a reflective life. Whereas U2 has often been active before, this seems a more passive album. It's like Bono is talking about things, while not stating vehemently an opinion.

 

So while I like this album, it's not one of my favorites.

Exactly! Its always better to see them after they've road tested teh songs for a bit.

btw Milan ticket price was wrong, it's 63,25€ plus some other additional cost and delivery..well I can't go anyway :P
