December 26, 200520 yr I must say, Bono has good looking children. Nobody knows apparently who this is, Memphis or Jordan. :D
December 27, 200520 yr Memphis and Jordan are beautiful (some people are so blessed with the gene pools, honestly! ). And his little ones are absolutely adorable! I always thought that was Jordan  But I'm really not sure.
December 27, 200520 yr Does anyone have the studio version of the "Electric Co." ? A few U2 songs got corrupted on my HDD and now I'm only left with a few milion LIVE Versions of Electric Co. :/
December 29, 200520 yr Here's a very interesting interview with Adam http://www.bassplayer.com/story.asp?storycode=12388 I love this part "I get a different physical reaction from playing with my fingers. There’s nothing quite like that contact of pulling the wires" I love bass players
December 29, 200520 yr I just downloaded the live version of Bad from Wide Awake in America. What a great song! (Especially live).
December 29, 200520 yr iriden, I so just bought that magazine yesterday, and I hadn't even been looking for it! I just started playing the bass a few weeks ago (all because of Adam!) and it was great to read his thoughts on the instrument and how he writes his bass lines. Adam's so cool! crawlinwithin, Bad is one of my favorite songs lately. I love how in Rattle&Hum Bono starts singing random Stones songs in the middle of it!
December 29, 200520 yr valkyr, here's your request for the album version of Electric Co. http://s43.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2SHXVDKDO8SUS1NZB2W0UVY0ER This link will be gone in 7 days (YSI sucks).
December 29, 200520 yr Electric Co. is a great song. They performed it on the Vertigo Chicago DVD and it rocked. I hadn't listen to 'Boy' in an age before seeing them perform it on the DVD. an_cat - I love that pic in your signature - I had it as my desktop wallpaper for a while!

I noticed that especially on this tour; a lot of Beatles songs were quoted (which I think is great).
December 29, 200520 yr Sabrosa, thanks! It's a very festive picture, I think! Electric Co. is one of my favorite songs now, just because Edge came and played his solo right in front of me on the catwalk. That was incredible... Now everytime I hear it I flashback to that moment, and when Bono jumped onto the railing only 10 feet away from me!! I love how Bono will start singing a random song either in the middle, leading into or right after one of their most popular songs. Like how he threw in Rock The Casbah, by The Clash (another of my favorite songs!) during Sunday Bloody Sunday, at both my December concerts. And Ol' Man River after Sometimes back in October. I have the bootleg of that show and I always look forward to that part, when it comes on.
December 29, 200520 yr I have a lot of Eletric Co. LIVE Versions and they all rock the world of U2. But the link you provided me is done and kaputt, maybe rapidshare.de? Would highly appreciate it. What are your thoughts on Lemon and the video? The video has something special imho.

And yes Rock the Casbah is a perfect fit for that song. I think Bono is really trying pay tribute to U2's influences as much as he can.
December 30, 200520 yr Electric Co. is one of my favorite songs now, just because Edge came and played his solo right in front of me on the catwalk. That was incredible... Now everytime I hear it I flashback to that moment, and when Bono jumped onto the railing only 10 feet away from me!!  it's the same thing that happened to me, the only thing I remember of that moment is that we were all screaming "Edgeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" and the girl in front of me was crying, I couldn't believe he was there so close in front of me  I love when Bono sings random songs too because they always fit perfectly...we had the snippet of "Everybody hurts" and the end of one song in Milan (can't remember now which one) as REM were there :D
December 30, 200520 yr Yea, I have new found appreciation for Electric co after hearing it in concert. It was one of the best of the night. So full of energy. I love it even more now.
December 31, 200520 yr Hey there, does anyone know of a site that has all the chords and lyrics (together) for U2 like this site (check link) does for Gordon Lightfoot? I've been searching around for awhile now but to no avail. http://www.lightfoot.ca/lyrchord.htm
December 31, 200520 yr Aw geez, I don't know. The site I use for lyrics is always http://www.atu2.com I usually just search for whatever song I want to learn on my guitar (or bass) in google and click the first page the comes up. I'll have to look around, because that'd be a great help to me as well!
January 1, 200620 yr Happy New Year everyone! Does anyone here have Stuck in a Moment acoustic? I love that version, and I wish I had it.
January 1, 200620 yr U2 is my favorite band ever, other than Oasis. But the Strokes are picking up steam.....
January 2, 200620 yr Ok, this might be a kind of strange question, but I've been thinking... And since we're all U2 AND Coldplay fans, I figured this is a good place to ask. If you had to choose one band to tour with (write an assignment on, specifically), and the only choices you were given were Coldplay and U2, who would you choose? Say the tour you'd be asked to go on is the remainder of U2's (Australia, New Zealand, South America, Japan, etc) and Coldplay's American legs. I, personally, think I'd end up choosing U2. For the travel experience and just the fact that the Vertigo tour has been so... mind blowing. But that'd be a very, VERY hard decision to make. And who do you think would be better to write about? Just curious.
January 2, 200620 yr an-cat do you maybe have an easier question    But anyway I will probably follow U2 on tour just because I've never seen them in small venues and seeing them live was one of the best experiences of my life...Coldplay are coming closer but U2 are on top right now :)
January 3, 200620 yr What a good question? Do you mean like if we had a band? or just in general? Cause I think if I were a band I would love to open for U2 but I wouldn't know how to do it. Opening for a band like U2 is a tough thing to do. Plus the crowd is much older, they may not be as interested. Opening for Coldplay would be easier and more fun cause the crowd can dig you a little bit more. However, if I had the chance to tour (in general) with one of those two bands, I'd sure as hell pick U2.
January 3, 200620 yr If I were an opening band, I'd DEFINATELY go with U2. Just because it would give you so much more credibility (no offense Coldplay!). The question was more based on a journalistic standpoint, though. Like, say Rolling Stone magazine called you and said "You can either write an article on U2 or Coldplay, and you'll be able to tour with the band of your choice.", who'd you pick? That question would definately bring out MY demons  :o
