clocks-politik how much money do you want to spend and of course do you want something to listen to or just watch (and eventually read :P )...then you can choose: all the albums and DVD you don't have or, as an_cat suggested, the book U2&I by Anton Corbijn..I must buy this one too...whenever I'll get the money...crap it's still too much expensive :cry: anytime I see it in a bookshop and I look at those amazing pictures I'm like :o :o

if you are interested in Bootlegs / Audience recordings or just the live aspect of U2 , I would recommend Pimm Jal de la Parra's book U2 Live : A Concert Documentary ... oh and yeah try to get Zooropa and POP ;)

they're alright, pop wasn't too bad but zooropa was painful (Except for "The first time", that's such a beautiful song.)

 

Hey, does anyone have the U2 christmas song? I heard it on the radio today and I didn't even know that U2 had a christmas song. It's not too bad I guess.

Pop is a great album - Mofo, Gone, Discotheque, Staring at the Sun... all fantastic. It is probably the U2 album I listen to the most.

 

The Chicago Vertigo DVD is great also - a good choice. Their Slane Castle DVD is the best out of all their concert stuf though - this is definitely worth getting.

Now that I have so much of Coldplay (B-Sides, LIVE Songs, Rare Songs etc) I'd want to have some rare, nice songs of U2, too. Also very much intrested in LIVE Songs.

Sabrosa, although lately I've been on a U2-80's kick, Pop has always been one of the constant albums I'll put on when I don't know what else to listen to.

 

Stay (Faraway, So Close!) is one of my all time favorite songs, and I love the Wanderer. And Numb. And Lemon. And Babyface. And Dirty Day. And The First Time. For all that, I just love Zooropa. It's so different from their 80's material that I can see how people wouldn't like it (my mom HATES it). But I guess knowing the context of the album and how it was made helps too.

Don't know where else to post this. Just feelin' the love for this song right now.

Yes, we should. I've never listened to ATYCLB too too much until this past week. That song makes me cry, now...

I bought 'how to dismantle an atomic bomb' some days ago. I have to admit that this is the first u2 album I've bought so far, although I've always liked them. they're great!
