April 24, 200521 yr i'm in grade 9, first year of high school and i have no idea what i want to do with my life :dozey: so many options...
April 24, 200521 yr I'm currently studying Ancient World Civilization and Asian History, then I'll be off to uni to do sociology and psychology, then I'll graduate and become a travel show host, part time interior designer, politician, prime minister of my country then I'll move on to conquer the world. Oh wait, I'll get married along the way and have four kids, then I'll retire and live in a quaint cottage somewhere in the country (Yorkshire!), where I'll live a happy life hosting tea parties and gardening and painting... Sigh... :)
April 24, 200521 yr Hmm this is a bit of a depressing question for me really cos at the moment it's nothing :/ I have (if I'm honest) pretty good GCSE and A-Level results and did try university twice but I really don't think it's for me. And I don't think it's really worth doing unless it's a vocational subject, I know tons of people who have a degree but can't do anything with it. So I currently work in a cinema full time (I have authority though  ) but after the summer I'm going to get out and look for an "adult" job, I just don't know what in yet. I need a decent wage though as I don't want to be living at home for too much longer and a minimum wage is getting me nowhere. I have no idea what I wanna be, which is so so sad at 20, but I'll figure it out, eventually.
April 24, 200521 yr Author Ahhhh I wouldn't have asked this dumb question if I thought it would be uncomfortable for some people. Sorry mimi :embarrased:
April 24, 200521 yr Ahh it's not, I wouldn't have answered if I was uncomfortable, I'll do something worth while soon enough

April 25, 200521 yr I like this question because i get to use the 'professional name' for my job. I'm a customer services consultant for UKI partnerships (car insurance) who are owned by the royal bank of scotland. Sounds better than it is, I work in a call centre helping with complaints mainly, its not that bad though, i quite enjoy it actually. Tried college, it didnt work for me.
