I think I've seen a picture of it before on his piano at a gig, but I've never seen him use it before. I'm pretty sure he had it first! It's a great instrument though, and it's so pretty. I love the black and red. It's called the Hohner Fire melodica, but they also do an ocean one, which is blue and black. That one is really nice too.

Actually, yes! The last time that they were on they were the musical guests, so there was no interview, but Jonathan referred to Damon as a genius, which was definitely a step up from the last time. I thought it was so sweet though - when jonathan said that about him the camera was on him, but you could see his eyes flick over to Jamie, as if to say "he's a genius too", without being too obvious. I could be wrong, but that's the way I read it. I kinda felt bad for Jamie there actually. Especially since Jonathan was all over Jamie the last time!

I'm really sick of the stories where people go and purposly stalk musicians and they guys have no choice but to be nice to them, and therefore the stalkers think they are buds and all that shit. Yea, you would guess that Jamie gets fed up with the excess of Damon sometimes, especially in interviews where the interviewer asks most questions in Damons direction, and Jamie just being left to sit there. They need to be both included in the conversation if they are both sitting there, and have turned up for an interview.

I doubt Jamie feels neglected, he doesn't seem like he would let things like that get to him. And I think most of the good interviews do try to talk to them both equally.

Well yes, I suppose he knows the way the media works anyway, Damon is the 'pop star' and already so widely known, compared to a smaller number that will have heard of Jamie before. I am just speculating that he must get bored with interviews sometimes when they decide to focus so much on Damon. Jonathan Ross's interview with them is good though because it talks about their relationship too, so its not just about the Gorillaz 'project'.
