It's on at 10 P.M. here in the states (eastern standard time) on VH1. Should be awesome :)

Yeah, I'm definitely going to check this out. Seems like a good show!

Oh yeah.. I had forgotten about this already.. thanks ;)

weee i've been looking forward to this for a week!

Wow I almost forgot about it too! Thanks for making this :)

how can we watch it? online anywhere?...and if so, link?

aww poor non-vh1 getting people.

i can't record it, but i'm sure someone can

Chris: Thank you all so much, we're the Backstreet Boys..uh, no I mean we're Coldplay!

 I love that man. That first story was great! lol

I love it so far.

it was so good! they were making jokes all through the performance, chris is a pretty damn funny guy, and the performance was so good

I loved the intro for In My Place.

"Here's a song from our last album, A Rush of Blood to the Head. Which by way sold more than 200 albums!

I love Chris... :D

'we tried recording in my place 500 billion times but it never worked. we eventually used the magic of the computer to edit it all together'

'my lyrics aren't deep. no one will be reading into them 10 minutes or 100 years from now. they're just not that deep.'

-chris martin

huge. now they admit they suck.

huge. now they admit they suck.

"but maybe they'll remember our chords."

Chris is humble, my friend. Would you prefer him to sit there and tell you that they'll be the biggest band and be remembered by everyone in 100 years? I think not. Besides, them thinking they're not the best only pushes them to be better everytime.

I love how they work at songs and record them a billion times. Not many bands would give a crap when they know fans will buy the material regardless.

Wow...I don't understand when people join messageboards just to bad talk the band. What a waste of time.

ANYWAY, I missed the first half hour...and I tuned in right before The Scientist. It was so beautiful

Haha, during Fix You, Jonny was saying how it was probably one of the most moving songs to him that they've ever written, and then Chris says something like, "Yeah and then you ruin it with your guitar!!"

i'm not sure they're going to be remembered for more than two albums that sound the same and one that should drop off the earth. i'll guarantee you the majority of actual bands out there dont edit and piece together a song of that simplicity because they can't record it together at all.

i hate dave matthews band, but they record more difficult shit than that and dont have to edit pieces together etc. it's just bullocks and it's simply lame.

now, racheld, i'd suppose you started automatically with 100 posts? i didn't think so either. i'm offering light to a situation which has been going between two coldplay message boards and a radiohead one, and finally started an account to defend myself against some angsty pre-pubescent teenager who said that your beloved coldplay has out done U2, Radiohead, and Sigur Ros combined. if that isn't the biggest pile of shit, i dont know what is.

marketability isn't neccessarily a good thing, but alot of you think it is.

i'm not sure they're going to be remembered for more than two albums that sound the same and one that should drop off the earth.

For one...you can say that you think X&Y is shit, that you don't like it, it'll never go anywhere, ect, ect. One thing you most certainly cannot say, it's that it sounds the same as the past two albums. Do you not have ears? How is this not obvious to you?

Secondly - are you there in the recording room with every single band in the world while they record, edit, produce, ect? No? Ah, well I didn't think so. Chris says they used computers to finish off In My Place and from this you gathered that they suck? I'm pretty sure a hella of a lot of bands do that as well! They just don't say it. Props to Coldplay for not giving a crap and actually saying when they get inspired by other bands and nick things from them and when things don't go well in the recording room. They're human, after all, and you can't base a band's exellence on how they recorded one song.

I watched and recorded it, it was awesome. They're so geeky, and hilarious and just awwww. And they really soar, performing live

aww poor non-vh1 getting people.

Crap, Hopefully we could download it somewhere! I really want to see it!

I luv geeks! :D
