(tabbed solo while in Eb, was off by a fret).. the interlude was also off and has been fixed... now i am certain this tab is 110% accurute... Second the solo is e| 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 B| 5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-12-12-12-12-5-5-5-5 And last part goes down to 4 and the rest is wrong. I can upload the book but this is kapone's section man so go make your own. Expecially since their wrong. A Message please... maj039 Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 im not a super guitar expert or anything..but isnt all of the guitars in fix you tuned down half a step? i dont think theres a standard tuning guitar most of the piano chords are also minor or major flats i think.. =/ the acoustic is.... in all respects it donsnt matter so much since Eb is just a half a step down from standard.. so a fret to the left... so from eb to standard, jhonnys solo would be (eb) 444444444111111 then to (standard) 55555555121211212.. etc... guitars work in half steps... a note on a certian fret will be the same note higher up and to "improvisation" dont think your right all the time.. and ive read alot of these tabs by "kapone" on this thread and most of them are very accurute... taken from the book.. but you see, you have a habit of making changes where thier not needed... the offical book makes very small mistakes and if thier is one you can tell beoucse it only off by a very little you can tell what is supposed to be played.. as well as watching videos of them preforming live, exept that they play things diffrent sometimes... also remember that their is more then one "way" to play a song... but their is a wrong way as well... but accutally try it carefully before saying it is wrong... and yes i will make my own thread thank you very much, where every tab will be as accurute as possible... thank you.... oh and im not a "nub" ive been playing guitar for 2 years self tought with some baisci theory ass well as at keast 4 years of piano lessons/theory/practice... So take your own advice. yes Eflat lets you play notes a half step lower.. for sure it makes a diffrence.. however if your in standard you just play a fret over to the left.. arltertivly you can use a capo if in E flat.... (to go to standard) obivisoully you cant go to far or it will sound terrible (say the 1st fret) but from 5 in standard to 4 in Eb is exactly the same note!... i don't doubt youve played this song 100 thousand times live.. not for one second.. i did an enitre thread search and theire is only like 2 or 3 fix you tabs on this whole thread and it dosnt show one by you... or even a complete one for that matter (piano, interlude) if i can find il give it a try but it dosnt appear to be anywhere... oh and i dindt come here to start a fight... so,... please calm down Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
