Scientist man, the X means that that string isnt played during that chord. Either mute it by putting a spare finger on it so that it won't vibrate, or just try not to hit it.

Finally, I think you need to tune the high e down to a D for your revised Green Eyes.

It is kinda funny. The other day I just found out what the X means. But Thank you anyways.

 

I have found a much better tabs for the scientist and clocks that sound great.

Could you link me to them? I can't for life of me figure out how Kapones scientist electric tab works with the song.

Alright, so I, like others have noticed that with Coldplay you have to use your thumb a lot.

 

Does anyone have any advice on how to do that? I just cannot get my fretting hand situated to where I can play most of these chords with adding the thumb. My thumb like isn't flexible enough.

I had the same problem. What I would do is stand up and play. much easyer. Well it worked for me. Hope it helps.;)

Can anyone post a tab of the lead and rhythm parts to "Bigger Stronger"? I would really like the lead part more if possible.

I'm looking for a video of 'green eyes' where i can see the chords they play. Live, they normaly play the song in the key of G. Are they tuning the guitar down 2 steps and play the chords earlier mentioned in this thread or are they tuning the high e-string down to D en play the more easier chords G, D/F#, Am, Am7 ( with open 1st string)?

 

In the normal key, are they using a capo or use the 'weird' chords?
