July 13, 200520 yr i went to an advanced screening for that movie wedding crashers on tuesday night and i heard a coldplay song i never heard before, and i pretty much heard them all. i checked the track listing for the soundtrack and there is no listing for a coldplay song,so i was wondering if anybody knows anything about this song, all i can tell you that it sounded like a slow ballad, and it was pretty nice.
July 13, 200520 yr Hmm I've just looked at the soundtrack and there's definitely no Coldplay on there, could just be someone who sounds like them :idea2: I'm going to see it this weekend anyway so I'll listen out :)

July 15, 200520 yr Heh. Nobody sounds like Coldplay. ^.^ Blue Merle guy sounds like Chris.. yeah that guy sounds nothing like chris in my opinion, there music sounds nothing like coldplay to me either. I guess when you like coldplay so much nothing will sound like them because you know coldplay and blue merle aint no coldplay...that for dang sure
July 15, 200520 yr I havent seen it, but dont go by the soundtrack. Not all songs in the film will be on the soundtrack. I cant se why coldplay would have a new song on a film though.
July 15, 200520 yr so who's volunterring to sit in the cinema and wait for the credits to roll then?
July 15, 200520 yr Driving me crazy! The song in the film was without a doubt Coldplay but I can't find it in relation to the film anywhere! I am resorting to lookin at all Coldplay lyrics to try and recognise the lyrics. can anyone help me out!?!?!
July 15, 200520 yr I havent seen it' date=' but dont go by the soundtrack. Not all songs in the film will be on the soundtrack. I cant se why coldplay would have a new song on a film though.[/quote'] That is true.
July 17, 200520 yr My brother saw the film and said it was Sparks that was played. Yep, that's right. "Sparks" was played somewhere in the middle of the movie.
July 17, 200520 yr all you guys beat me to the bunch, i was wondering if it was a coldplay song cuz the whole time the song was playing in the middle (when owen wilson and rache mcadams was spending time together) i kept thinking: coldplay? dave matthews band? counting crows? the soundtrack don't have it, and that was fustrating. does anybody know the title of this song by sparks? eventhough it's not coldplay, it's a pretty good song, hehe.
July 17, 200520 yr It was Sparks by Coldplay!!!!!!!!!!!! Duh.... Dont ya know it???? Its on Parachutes.
July 18, 200520 yr yeah, i can't believe it took a whole page for someone to figure that out, i got it right away when i saw it. funny movie by the way

July 18, 200520 yr but I remember coldplay said that they would not let their songs to be a movie soundtrack  they never said that...most of the time, they don't even know their song is in a movie or t.v unless they watch it or someone tells them.
July 18, 200520 yr Yes, it's "Sparks" -- that's a Coldplay song, not a group! Track 4 on Parachutes, people!!!! What a pleasant surprise when it came on. And it was perfect for what was going on in the movie. I can't believe it's not on the soundtrack - that's shocking.
