Hahaha I'll give you a rundown...

 

I took UC's acoustic and stood beside the recorder, and despite my advice that the song would sound horrible (Although it was COLDPLAY so it would anyway) if we didnt have a lead electric and then acoustic me playing Chris' chords, Jason decided to pluck random notes on his bass. Then that dickhead Daniel was playing random stuff with his shitty drumming. So I was forced to keep switching back from chords to lead, and thats what I did, I came in with the first two strumming intros of the song and then played the lead intro bit on the normal acoustic, and it sounded horrible, especially with the fucked up drums and bass, there was no backing for the lead. Hahaha and then the verses, y'know the tones that the guitarist plucks after Chris says "It was called yellow..." well I kept randomly plucking those and mocked Chris' ball stricken vocals, especially during the chorus.

 

Damn it was a hootenany, that song went on for about 6 mins because I forgot the bridge bit and kept repeating the verses and Chorus, superb.

hahah that was so funny I dribbled and it narrowly missed my laptop :D

Frankly, I don't give a damn whether Radiohead or Oasis is better than Coldplay. I know that I like Coldplay, so, that's all that matters to me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, you're just stating yours to get attention. IMO, that's as pathetic as it gets. Come back here when you have something more valuable to say.

And now what the hell are Coldplay going to do, they are totally screwed. They havent changed much at all since Parachutes, and if you look at the progression lines of Radiohead, from Pablo Honey, to an excellent Bends, to a mind blowing unbelievable album like OK Computer, and onto the dark and very original Amnesiac and Kid A. I cant wait to see the direction Coldplay run into, it'll be funny. They'll probably keep doing the same things over and over again for like 4 albums and no doubt some of you idiots out there will buy every one of them.

Ah, how long have Coldplay been around and how long have Radiohead been around? I think Coldplay are one of the most successful bands around and that they will be for a long time to come. Their music is original, heartfelt and inspirational. I think you have no right to call us idiots just because we're going to buy Coldplay's albums ; it's what people call "fans" you know.

Everyone has different taste, obviously you have none.

Now, it appears from some of you (Buttercup) I dislike Coldplay because they are comparable to them, wrong, I love both Bob Dylan and Neil Young equally yet people have been comparing for years (Along with the mixture of late Eric Clapton, another fave of mine). Im not THAT dumb that I have to hate a band because you choose between one or the other, like Pearl Jam vs Nirvana, I liked both (Well I used to anyway).

 

Uh, just read something from jewel, which was a quote from Sinead. My point was that you all appear to hate ME personally for me hating Coldplay, which is ignorant in the worst kinda way, Im not an asshole I just have different opinions and I express them wrongly in the wrong places. You can sit there and tell us we're all "fucking idiots" but we like coldplay, and you like radiohead, big deal. No one is telling you your an idiot for liking radiohead. What really is your point?
