Yea I get what u mean about thinking in english.and on weird occasions my english slips too. I just started noticing a few months ago that I sound totally white washed when speaking spanish :( i get tongue tied a lot. I hate imagining what people are thinking that I can't speak it that well. Im gonna try to improve it though.

i simply think he is a copycat of Manu Chao :| at least Manu was one of the first in playing this style and succed. Anyways i prefer Macaco to other said 'alike' as Huecco and Melendi :sick: too mainstream and too sh*te. :sick:

 

there are other similar bands in one way or another of this genre/style called here 'fusion' which mainly have some reggae (or ska) and rumba (or some flamenco style). The good thing of most them is: they produce themselves, are their bosses (involving in the tour contracts and so having direct talking with their fans), and most them started playing in the streets, with members from diferent places which give more stuff to the projects as writing songs in different languages., and they use to be quite optimistic and funny.

- chambao (thought those sound more chillout like).

- ojos de brujo (is said they were the pioneers).

Manu Chao lived in many places and write songs in different languages with a lot of political stuff in it, but he is not mixed race imo.

Haha me acuerdo de eso porque me obsessioné con juanes despues de ir a unos de sus conciertos :P y por la obsession mi primo fuel el que me tuvo que recordar que coldplay iva sacar su nuevo album lol. So yea... tengo que escuchar el nuevo album de juanes :cool:

 

Pero yo no se esa clase de español :P es muy formal y yo solo aprendi el nivel de español de una niña de tercero grado. Aqui en estados unidos no nos enseñan el español :\

no se estudiará allí, o la política habrá cambiado. Cuando era adolescente participé en programas de cartearse y me escribí con varios norteamericanos (Florida y Nueva York) porque en clase estudiaban el idioma.

bueno, nosotros tenemos un teclado ligeramente distinto al anglosajón, con tecla para ñ y tilde.

bueno solo lo enseñan en high school si escojes una classe pero yo escoji frances :P yo aprendi mi español de mi familia, ver la tele y la musica y de leer un poco. Y pensar que antes yo no sabia ingles cuando estaba chica :P
