Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah i just saw that our shop already have it !! finally !!

But i already got it since is out, a friend from other place bought me :) im just happy cause finally our stores have them :D

CONFIRMED:

'You Don't Know Love' single to be released mid-January

Good choice. But that's really late for a 2nd single.... so that's the 3rd?

And I know they have had a lot of b-sides in the past, but I wouldn't hold off for any. Firstly, because of cuttings 2, and the fact that they put demos in the first single. Secondly, the band mentioned recently that they are well keen to get back into the studios again for LP4... (I Know, a bit early...) but this means they may save tracks for the next recording sessions. For now, I guess we can just use the acoustic versions and that new moon song...

yeah, the New Moon song is so raw being just piano but it's good.

I want b-sides, but if they hop in the studio ASAP and get creative really fast we can have a new album in no time

reason why the new editors album wasnt featured this week on australian radio.

We've played Papillon - the single - a bit and I gave another song off the album a run on the show a few weeks back. We didn't think the album strong enough for a feature, but we'll see if we can give it some more plays on air... - Triple J radio music director Richard Kingsmill.

i think the new album is by far their weakest

well I beg to differ.

What a loser, Kingsmill. And Momford and Sons was better? No.

I read that someone does not like this new song " No Sound But the Wind" .. but i really love it :wacky:

It's not as good as the full band version, but still very good, and I imagine it would suit Twilight () well.

Seriously, I've been to a lot of concerts, and the audience at last nights Editors concert was one of the worst audiences I have ever been a part of.

It was a night of the living dead, had Halloween come early?

But the best part of the audience was getting out, a group of around 5/6 people decided they were going to block one of the doors to hug goodbye to each other causing a build-up of people.

On the whole the band were pretty good, even with wearing ear-plugs (I f**ked up my hearing last week at Ash, the doctors said to wear ear-plugs at concerts), the new songs being awesome live, just a shame about the rubbish crowd.

Which gig have you been to? I mean, which town?

I was part of a 'dead' crowed two weeks ago during a Mando Diao concert. I felt so sorry for the boys. :\ Hopefully this is not going to happen here to Editors. But seeing as my hometown sucks in giving a good audience, I don't think so. :(

At least I'll be jumping and dancing and singing. :smug: Maybe I make it into the front row.

And I hope your ears get better soon, Kite!

Southampton

I just copied and pasted the same review from the one i did on the editors forum.

They are getting better I think, although I'm going to be wearing ear-plugs from now on.

  • 5 weeks later...

Will see them tomorrow!

I try to get to meet them afterwards because it's a pretty small venue and the last time I went to a concert there I met the band (not Editors). :nice:

I seriously don't know which of my favourite songs they should definetely play, I'll be more than fine with everything they do, I guess. :D

It was absolutely fabulous!! :cheesy:

I met some very nice fans and even the boys. :awesome:

I'm working on a proper review in case some one wants to read it. My photos are pretty crappy but better than none. :P

I love Editors <3 I love Tom Smith.

I saw them at Little Noise Sessions. They were amazing. They were playing with my favourite band ever (other than coldplay) The Maccabees. It was amazing. I went because I love The Maccabees, but I really loved Editors and Bombay Bicycle Club as well. I love them even more now. Everything Everything were REALLY good too.

Editors + Distance + Acoustically + Church = The most perfect moment of my life so far. haha x
