i can't believe it!!!!!! chris was so important...all the songs from the back room and an end has a start were predominately his guitar :(

That's so sad. imo Chris' guitar is very distinctive in The Back Room and An End Has a Start, as alluded above.

 

Well, I wish both what remains of the band and Chris good luck, though I confess I'm a bit worried :/

Don't know, they said they would continue as a trio for the moment. But maybe in the future?

I'm really sad about this. Editors are one of my favourite bands and the guitars were kinda what made their music so good for me :cry:

"mkII" usually refers to the 2nd version of something...so i suppose he means the 2nd version of Editors now that they are less 1 band member. i could be wrong tho.

That makes sense. I was trying to look up what 'mkII' stands for, but most of the results were about 'Mortal Kombat II' :laugh3:

 

I think it's something like 'mark two' and it was extended to things other than manufectured products.
