Martin eyes Coldplay duet with Dion

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin hopes to record a duet with Celine Dion in the near future, because he wants to push the band's sound to the limit.

 

The Clocks singer is determined to expand Coldplay's sphere of reference and believes a duet with Canadian Dion will help him achieve that aim.

 

He says: "We shouldn't restrict our options. To me, the most bizarre things at the moment are the most exciting.

 

"I'd even be up for making a didgeridoo album in Alice Springs."

omg! i just got goosebumps! celine dion and coldplay.....that is amazing! i just wish the song sound like the one she did with the BEEGEES! :D

Well that would be a coup for Celine, because she hasn't released anything decent since the "Let's Talk About Love" album (which featured "Immortality").

It might just give her some street cred!!

Unfortunately she's gone all "Hollywood" since Titanic (take those Las Vegas shows, for example).

Her best album was a French one - "D'Eux"...............................

^ its true, she's gone hollywood, D'Eux was really good, although i also think her latest french album is very good as well.

My favourite song of hers is "Pour que tu m'aimes encore"!! :)
