Guitar: Talk, Yellow, crests of waves Piano: clocks, working on speed of sound

I can play a bit of Speed of Sound on the guitar....

grr, I wish I wasn't so short of patience and would sit down and do other songs, but unfortunately, I get frustrated easily

Drums:AROBTTH:Politik,In My Place,GPASUYF,Clocks (easy),The Scientist,Warning Sign,AROBTTH.

Parachutes:Don't Panic,Shiver,Trouble,Sparks,Yellow,Everything's Not Lost.

X&Y:All!

Clocks, SoS, Trouble... because my keyboard isn't touch-sensitive (if that's how you say it)! Like, there's no way to get a soft note, so songs like Politik and The Scientist sound bangy and ugly.

That's one goal in my life: to get a good piano.

piano: clocks

guitar: clocks, politik

... ;)

piano/keyboard - politik, the scientist, fix you, trouble, what if, proof, everything's not lost

drums - the scientist, fix you, what if, don't panic

guitar - parachutes, green eyes, fix you, don't panic

...wow, that's great! It would be great if I could play so much songs like you two... I've just learnt clocks on the piano, ... without being able to play the piano... (I'm a little proud  )

...... a good advice for everybody  : If you have the opportunity to learn an instrument by getting lessons, then learn an instrument which can be used in a lot of situations!

For example: I can play well the Violoncello, okay, good, but you can't use it for Coldplay.... so that it sounds authentic....

so I've been forced to learn the guitar and the piano (I'm still learning)

....

^ I agree with you... Even the piano can be a bit limited at times... You can't bring them with you to places for one  and guitar songs just sound awful on them... Guitars are the best!

yeah! guitars are simply the best!!! I really like the combination of:

  • guitars
  • sunset
  • bonfire
  • nice people
  • nature
  • summer holidays
  • ... and of course aaaaaa llllooottt of fun!
  • 2 weeks later...

I can play the beginning of clocks....crappily. Thats pretty much all my music skills.

I can pretty much play any Coldplay song on the piano. I'm teaching myself the basslines now. So far, I've done 'Yellow' and 'Don't Panic'.

Trouble, Everything's Not Lost, Politik, The Scientist, Clocks, Daylight, Warning Sign, A Rush of Blood to the Head, Amsterdam, Fix You (organ setting), Speed of Sound and that's it.

I learnt them all by ear

Daaaaang. I MUST find a good piano! I really want to learn how to play Life Is For Living on it, like the Live 2003 version. It sounds so nice.

I'm so jealous of you guys!

I can play a lot of songs...

on the piano:

Politik, In My Place, God Put a Smile Upon Your Face, The Scientist, Clocks, Amsterdam, Trouble, Fix You, X&Y, Speed of Sound, The Hardest Part, Swallowed in The Sea, Ladder to the Sun, Gravity

On the Guitar:

GPASUYF, Swallowed in the Sea, Yellow, The Hardest Part, Warning Sign, Clocks, Amsterdam, Ladder to the Sun, Kingdom Come..

gosh, I hope I'm not missing any

on piano: fix you (organs) , scientist, trouble

on guitar: fix you, trouble, don't panic, amsterdam, clocks

...so far
