no i have an old pic of him with it, I dont think its a scar though, more like a irritation of somekind, sometimes it isnt as red.

Yeah... It could be skin irritation. For some sensitive people it does tend to flare up, especially when they're stressed out

i think its a stress rash...i get things like that, well mine look like birth marks, but its from stress.

if its an irritation then it is likely to flare up when he gets really hot and sweats and he obviously does at gigs etc. so it would make sense that it is an skin irritation

I've always noticed that. He's had for a longggg time, you can see it early 2001 video performances even.

 

It's just that sometimes it looks more obvious than other times, for some strange reason. Like it's redder. Always thought it was an unusual birthmark..

^ It's more permanent than that... He has it at that same spot all the time, I've noticed it for sometime now. It's either an operation/injury scar or eczema (sensitive rash)

I think the possibility that the scar is from a surgery can be scratched out...

 

Incisionary scars look different, it wouldn't be broken up like that... it'd look a bit neater--and I don't know what kind of surgery has an incision on the side of the throat like that. It glances across his trachea and his external carotid artery... 0_o

 

I think it's most likely a rash, or a hypotrophic scar from an injury...

but... I think I'm wrong... lol

nah... it's probably eczema. they look sorta like the ones i have on my legs. and they flare up now and then. especially when i'm stressed or when i've been sweating too much. it's an allergy condition. and it gets so bloody itchy.
