Excuse me, do YOU know what God wants? Do you actually KNOW what his (or her *GASP*) plan is for everyone? That's certainly the impression that you give.

And it is certainly not "immoral". It is different. It's unfamiliar. They may be your beliefs, but how can you honestly look at another human who's gay and say what they're doing is wrong? They're not hurting anybody. If you didn't know someone was gay, and you liked them just fine, then you'd probably be friends with them, right?

i know what god wants from what he's said..he has made it clear being gay is a sin....so its god's view on the issue. its a fact, he said and made it clear as crystal. he left no room for doubts on this subject.

in my view its not possible to grow spiritualy without reading the bible, thats why god had it made, for the exact reason and to help guide people. thats if were talking about the same god...

My best friend IS gay. In fact, he left this afternoon to Las Vegas, where he's meeting up with his boyfriend. I've talked to him about this many times, because he's expressed his fear that someone outside our tight knit grouping of friends would find out his secret. He's actually fearful of this, where he almost didn't go on the trip because of his anxiety. It's aweful to see a great friend of yours be ripped apart by this, because society has beaten into us an imposed, religion based moral. That God created a man and a woman, and to have sexual relations outside of this pairing you are damned to rot in hell for eternity. And to be teased and persecuted mercilessly while you live on this Earth.

 

Why would you choose this? I asked Sean that. I asked him when he realised he was gay. He said he didn't realise it, he just felt it. It was already inside of him. What one man might feel for a woman, he simply felt for a man. I think it's critical for people to understand what someone goes through inside themselves as a homosexual, and not what heterosexuals tell us they go through.

 

It doesn't make sense to me.

 

And it's these imposed religious values, that I see surrounding me everyday, that made me despise religion and everything that it entails. I don't believe in God anymore. I don't believe in the Church, or the Holy Bible. I simply believe in who I am. That's reality. I know that my best friend is not disgusting. That he's not doing something wrong. And if some jerk is going to hate him for that, let them burn for it. Because I would not be a friend or a good person if I looked down on him for it.

Why is murder immoral? You want to say it's because everyone is equal, but that's your opinion. So is your opinion morality? I personally believe that the truth is God creates the laws and morality is simply our opinions. God created men and women for the purpose of marriage and to be happy that way, not to get divorced or have multiple partners. It was God's purpose, not my moral belief that homosexuality is wrong. But he didn't make us for 'sex' alone, he gave us sex for happiness along with a couple of rules and unfortunately I have to go now. Bye

Because I don't plan on ever getting married, but I will probably have sex sometime in the future. There's one sin.

Hmmm... I gave all my Christmas money last year to the Red Cross to help with the tsunami disaster. I donated to the relief fund for Hurricane Katrina. I believe strongly in the global war on AIDS and ending extreme poverty. I plan on spending the summer, and possibly year, after I graduate high school in Ghana, Africa, working in an orphanage. I want to be a humanitarian.
