No, AROBTTH is the best, all of the songs are great I'm sorry that I couldn't go to the past tour but I think AROBTTH songs weree performed much better in this one. This is my ranking of the album songs

1.-Clocks

2.-Politik

3.-God Put A Smile Upon My Face

4.-Daylight

5.-Amsterdam

6.-In My Place

7.-The Scientist (live is much better, it would be like the 5 or 4)

*The rest of them are kind of tied, I can't really choose but maybe AROBTTH would be the next

I remember buying X&Y first. I loved it.

Then I got AROBTTH, and I loved it even more.

Parachutes is so good too...

But AROBTTH is my fav. For sure.

My brother got AROBTTH when it came out but I never really listened to it. I heard him playing it one day and really liked what i heard so I stole it from him and it has been mine ever since. :nice:

Like most everyone else, I agree: it is their best album.

The thing that makes it their best, in my opinion , was that it had the best balance of vocals and the music. In X&Y, I thought the main guitaring often kind of drained out Chris and the other members.

The other thing I thought made it the best was the song order. Politik might have been the best starting song for any album I've heard. And Amsterdam just really blew me away.

X&Y had great music, but the songs could have been put in a different order.

Maybe just my opinion, but whatever....

My rankings of songs in order(Whoo!Like you care!):

1.Amsterdam

2.The Scientist

3.Warning Sign

4.Green Eyes

5.God put a Smile upon your Face

6.Clocks(Most overrated song they've put out. Song of the year? Come on now.)

7. In my Place

8.Daylight

9.A Rush of Blood to the Head

10.Politik

11.Whisper

Dang, the top 8-9 are like some of the 30 best songs I've heard.

I think what we perceive to be the best changes over time.. The "freshness" of the moment being lost on some, so to speak. Try listening to one you haven't played for a long, long time - suddenly, you have the joy of discovery all over again! Sparks is pretty neat in that sense, and so is Warning Sign.. If you go without for a while, the joy of discovery returns anew..

well my coldplay history:

i listened to some of their songs in the beginning of my education like in well 2000 or so after 2000 like in 2001 when travis song sing was popular:

i listened to coldplay on MTV, along with other artists.

but never remembered them,then

listening to all their songs rare and b-tracks,EPS,album tracks i liked them so much.My favorite songs are almost all written by Chris.

But my especially favorite tracks to be listed are:

1.Sparks-Parachutes(i broke into tears and emotion of missing Chris whenever i listen it while he's singing, because he's my love).

2. Animals

3.Spies

4.Parachutes

5.Everything's not lost

6.Yellow video

and yeah Parachutes is my all time favorite ever album of my life out of all artists and Coldplay in this world.

thanks COLDPLAY for giving such a soulful music.

& Nice notes to them all, Pallavi:):daisy:

Hmm.. Best Album in the Whole World, like Ever? Well, I really like the album Soundtrack to the Movie - The Sound of Music:) (can never get enough of Julie Andrews), but comparing these things is like comparing apples and tree frogs:)! Sure, there's cells and DNA, and they share similarities, but both are beautiful!

Best Album - I would vote for them all.

well for you and careful where you stand and some emotional songs are also there, but anyway its as chris said is the very best band in the world.

Isn't not even the best Coldplay album, so it can't be the best album in the world.

This is my favorite album. IT's also the best colplay's album acording to critics and to sellings. (Some considerate this very important [sellings], but for me not too much)

So for me is the best album. And my favorite tracks in order:

1.-Clocks

2.- The scientist

3.- God put a smile upon your face

4.- In my place

5.- A rush of blod to the head

6.- Amsterdam

7.- Politik

8.- Daylight

9.- green eyes

10.- warning sign

11.-A whisper

I like them all, and teh first 10 can enter in my favorite 50 songs, I like a whisper, but I think it's very repetitive

Isn't not even the best Coldplay album, so it can't be the best album in the world.

Wrong it is the best album, until I have heard the new one..
