March 10, 200620 yr I heard they go back into the studio the end of 2006 to start work on a 4th album. No clue when it'll be released then - my guess is late 2007.

March 17, 200620 yr I like Modern Warfare. But it's too non-CPish. It'll be something more abstract. Since it's the start of a new "series" of albums (with X&Y being the close to the first "trilogy" as Chris put it) perhaps it'll have something to do with a new start... such as... Alpha Countdown to the End Origin of the Species Genesis Day 1 Original of the Species? :laugh3: Theory of Revolution?

March 17, 200620 yr I liked the names "4", simple and nice, and also I liked "Nowhere to be known", Great names. Also liked "Zero theory" (but it sounds a little bit like something a hardrock band would name an album) and "Solid Ground" I can't come up with any names myself... :sad3:

March 19, 200620 yr I think that each album has a distinct feel to it, and I hope the next one follows suit. Parachutes seems very arty and original to me, AROBTTH is kinda isolationist and solitary and clean, and X&Y is very mathy/sciency. I cant really think of a possible mood/theme for the next album right now, but I hope it's completely different from the others in the mood-department. However, I want Coldplay to keep being coldplay and use pianos!! of course, the name should reflect the mood, but i've always thought a cool name for an album would be Approximately Infinite. Or maybe it should have a title in a different language and have a cultural/worldly feel!! haha
March 19, 200620 yr All the albums have had very unassuming, obscure names. Something like "Ghosts in the Trees" or something would be a bit too obtuse for them, I would think.
