yah I am not sure why no one else likes this song! I love it. The meldoies are really good, and the lyrics make the song have this nostalgic feeling to em... I like it live too. Sure Square one wouldve been good too, but Im just happy that they are releasing a single... :D

I like THP, just not as a single. It brings nothing new to the table.. just a kind of ho-hum song. The craziest thing about it is that they know this, as Chris has said that it's their least favorite track.

 

*Sigh*.. guess we just have to hope for the best. I hope it at least hits top 10 in the charts.

That's my same thinking..I believe many of us like the song itself...but to be a single it means it will reach the music public, not just fans, and many I'm sure would say it's not such good song compared to the other three singles :(

i like THP but dont think it should be a single. It's like Green Eyes or Warning Sign. Great songs but not singles. Single should be Square 1 or White shadows.......or a message.......or Low even! :lol:

listening to THP now...hmm...i like it cuz im a fan, but i'm not so sure the general public will. personally i think it's the weakest song on the album. boo. but hey, we get a new song when it's released!

I don't really care what the next single is.. I love all the songs in the album. and I don't care what other peopple think about coldplay.. or if they'll hate or love THP. I know I love it! and it probably isn't my fav track on the album but it's still good.. I'm just waiting for a cool video and some kickass bsides

The single should be White Shadows!!! It's a crime to leave it on the album.

 

But, hey. Who's to say they'll only release 4 singles off of the album? No one said anything about THP being the FINAL single, just the 4th single!

I'm sorry but... Hardest Part has sort of become a cliche for me. It's typical Coldplay. Logic is different and I think it'd impress a lot of people who need impressing.

I don't have any idea why they don't play it.

 

 

I heard them doing it in soundcheck back in August and it was AMAZING. I thought they were playing the album really loud in the Tweeter Center before everyone came in, seriously. That's how shocked I was.

 

 

Ever since then I've been obsessed with hearing it live. No matter where. I just want a live mp3 of that. And a music video to that song would be really cool.
