I've never smoked, but I always had in it in my head that when I was an old lady I'd just enjoy myself, you know? A lifetime of counting every goddam calorie, I figured once I got to a certain age the damage has already been done, you know? I think maybe she's noticed that she's seen as dull, boring and snobbish and so has hit back by trying to make herself sound a bit rock'n'roll. I've heard her swear before, but this interview is FULL of it, then saying she likes to get drunk, when a few years ago she was condemning anyone that did. So why are they walking the red carpet of Grammy's? If they do walk together, it will be certainly strange seeing them together at a very public event. I think that she knows that people don't always have the best perception of her, and that most people think she's a square.. :square: so she is saying things to make herself seem more interesting and outgoing. Hehe, but he doesn't mention this to Paltrow. They talk about Courtney Love and how she said Chris was in Travis, Gwyneth just laughed. :P It was also just before Thanksgiving and Gwyneth mentioned that they were postponing it until Chris got home from the US tour: ' "He's only home for 24 hours then he's off to Sheffield to start the UK tour" she says disconsolately' She suggests Goop is a nickname Chris gave her. The smoking and drinking questions were put to her, like "It's my round at the bar, what would you order" and "I'm going outside for a cigarette would you come with me?" etc. The Eff the haters stuff she was saying with a laugh.
