Yep, you're right. Specially for these award shows, stars doesn't always pay for their outfits since designers want the exposure.

She looked stunning, but I don't really like the shoulder pads.

Someone as tall and thin as her shouldn't wear shoulder pads.

To me it just adds to a more "skeletal" shape.

Along with Courtney Cox Arquette, Gwynnie was recognised for her dedication to cancer causes at the event, which also brought appearances from Beyonce, Jay Z and Tom Hanks.

 

"I'm like a housewife in England," the 36-year-old actress said, a little confusingly. "I'm married to a singer. And now I'm here.

 

"My husband's in Japan. But I've got Jay-Z, so that's even better."
