I haven't seen photos anywhere...

She didn't go...according to the live Met Gala blog she was never expected. I think she's on the guest list every year but hasn't actually been since 2001.

nope, you can't - you need to be british citiezen to vote. If you leave in the UK about you are a different nationality you can vote in local elections but not the general election.
