I was reading a mag called madison and there is like a six page thing on gwyneth. it's good. she talks about the usually, kiddys, diet, life and chris. did you know her fav coldplay song is everything's not lost. if I can be bothered i'll scan it for everyone. :)

gwyneth was on extra tonight talking about the new commerical that she shot for estee lauder. she shot it in long island, ny and was pictured relaxed and calm on a yacht. and in the background, you hear her humming. its a very cute commerical, they showed a small clip of it

she looks pretty in the pictures. :)

I just have to vent this and I figure this thread is as good a place as any to do it. I'm a member of another forum online, and one of their random threads is "Overrated Celebs". Well, someone brought up Gwyneth's name and was totally going off on how snooty she is and how she's constantly acting like she's better than everyone else. Tons of people are backing this person up, saying they couldn't agree more. I'll probably post a response if only to simply state I disagree (I don't feel like getting in an argument would be productive at all). Anyway, I think that she can come off that way if you don't take the time to listen to what she is saying. I think she seems down to earth, and says what she believes in, which can make a lot of people mad. It just ticked me off cause I think she is a genuinely nice person, and I was surprised that so many people were stepping forward to say how much they can't stand her. I mean really, there are much more deserving people for the title of "overrated celeb" IMO. *ahem* Paris Hilton...

^ I absolutely agree with you, it upsets me that so many people think that way about Gwyneth. I think she's simply misunderstood many times - yes, she had a privileged childhood, but always said how much she appreciated that time and how lucky and blessed she is. She is such a wonderful, lovely, down to earth person with a great family back-up - I can't stand people saying the opposite!

I suppose jealousy plays a huge part in those people's opinions.

I thought that she did a good job on Extra. It must be nice to be a super star.

i completely agree. at least gwyneth is a real person. overrated is nowhere near a good description of gwyn because i feel like she is honest and real and doesnt ever appear to be fake. not to mention i think epople just think negatively of her because she keeps the public at a distance, which is good because it keeps her mysterious. plus, she likes her private space which can be interpreted as being snobby or uptight i guess. but shes a class act in my book.
