Mariana, where do you have to work?

I work at a hotel. Front desk. Fun stuff, but not after a whole exausting weekend!!

Nicko, grazie sono benissimo!

Ok....ottimo:D!!

@Mariana: Indeed I had :D

Uni's going well' date=' although I have to do a presentation to do for next week that I'm very scared about!!! :o Apart from that its all fun  You're at uni too arent you? How is it going?.[/quote']

a presentation?! :stunned: gosh, in your first weeks at uni, that's scary!

Well... I had to do one at my third day there in front of about 140 people which went rather well in the end... It was quite funny after all, hehe :nice:

My uni-life is kinda boring at the moment...we still do basic stuff in our lectures, which often lets me barely fall asleep lol :laugh3:

I'll be glad when that's all over :nice:

hehe, sounds very nice :)

I'm good, thank you. although, there's not happening too much these days as I'm "unemployed" at the moment... I have to wait, 'cause it's still not clear whether I'll go to ireland soon for several months ;)

my weekend was as great as felix', as I spent my time with him ;) :)

Angie, last week I saw a reportage on TV where they said that more and more people are starting to play football (or as you say "soccer") in the USA. Do you think it's true?

I'd say yes, especially at school level. The MLS is not so great though. Only a few teams have football only stadiums. The match was played at University of Houston's Football stadium (American football) and it has all the field markers painted on and the Footie lines are painted on in yellow and it was hard to see where the box was and it just gets on my tits.

Hehe Nicko, avete guardato il gioco AC-Inter? :nice: (lol was that right?)

Lol Kara, the turkey stuck on his head... :D I want to see it again. Don't know if a TV channel is still broadcasting it here...

Hey Sally!

Hehe Angie, well today I read that Jürgen Klinsmann will become coach of the US-team. :)

hey guys..i'm going.....have a nice night( or day.....or afternoon everywhere you are:D)

I applied to a voluntary service ;) if things go well I'll probably be working with either young people or phyiscal handicapped people soon. but it's not certain if I will get a job at all, I think it'll be decided withing the next 2 or 3 weeks at last.

I was going to dress up, but none of my friends are...but we're going pubbing/clubbing in Brighton, which Ive missed, being at uni :nice:

Klinsmann did a great job for Germany during the cup. He's living here so he might as well be working. Not so sure we can be helped though.

No Halloweenie plans for me except work.

bye mariana!

@ kara i'm not sure yet... i might go to a party tomorrow. i've been there two years ago and it was really nice. but i'm only gioing if my friends will go as well and they havent decided yet.

@ sarah that sounds very good! ireland must be very lovely, i alwys wanted to go there. and i will sooner or later.

hi iris!

i'm so excited... i've been back to switzerland for two weeks now and i already found a job. but its london... miles from liverpool where i used to live. however, someone from the meresyside contacted me today, so i might get the job there. at least they sounded interested. they said they were gonna call me soon. still havent made a decision about london though.

I once went trick-a-boozing. My friend took her daughter around this huge neighborhood of rich homes. The people there get some many trick-a-treaters, they just sit outside handing out candy so they don't have to keep getting up to answer the door. We brought mugs and bummed what ever booze they had. :laugh3:

Bye Nicko and Mariana, good evening Oenona! You're right! :nice:

Ah Kara, so you will not go as a crazy bunny tomorrow? ;) I will not do anything at Halloween, people here don't celebrate it that much. Lol, this evening a child rang the bell and wanted to have tucks... :dozey: But I will watch Champions League tomorrow in a pub, together with some friends. :nice:

Yeah, maybe in 2010 the United States will have a good team as well. I really hope football is getting more popular across the pond.

yes, it's a lovely place. I went to dublin twice and also visited cork and wexford... aww, it would be great to be there again. but even if it won't be for a few months, I'll be visiting my brother next year... he's studying business studies in galway for a year. ;)
