There's some real nostalgia when Chris plays his acoustic with Jonny. Just them, it's hard to describe. :P

Yesterday I was watching tv, and there was a show with a guy called Mick Davson, and his friend Chris Martin.

My mom kept saying how that Chris was ugly, and that the real Chris Martin was much more handsome. :awesome:

And then I dreamt about Coldplay. :wideeyed:

Nostalgic :smug:

Christy Moore

Tramway Theatre is proud to present Christy Moore in a rare solo performance on Saturday June 30th at 8pm. The show promises to be a massive music highlight for West Wicklow. Christy Moore is one of Ireland’s most prolific singer songwriters infamous for his iconic songs Lisdoonvarna, Don’t Forget Your Shovel and Ride On.

His acclaimed new album Folk Tale, produced by Declan Sinnott sees the latest result of Christy and Declan’s unique musical alliance. Their long collaboration has gained a loyal and ever increasing following.

The Kildare singer rates his performance with headliners Coldplay at Oxygen last year as a memorable experience when hearing the sound of 80,000 young people singing along to Jimmy McCarthy’s classic Ride On.

Christy believes that his collaboration began when the Coldplay drummer Will Chamberlain attended one of Christy’s gigs as a twelve year old in Southampton in 1992.
