I found out through Curlys tweet and then saw this tweet. As upsetting as we will find this, Coldplay wouldn't be Coldplay if they repeated themselves. And I'll always wear mine to any shows anyway!! :heart:

I will miss the sight of them but for me a new era means new ideas.

It's sad that we hadn't it here in South America :(

Q. Hi Oracle!

I have a question. Do Coldplay use xylobands only in MX tour or they will use them in next shows as the part of every Coldplay show?

 

 

The Oracle replies:

 

There's a clue in their name - Xylobands. They were brought in for the Mylo Xyloto tour as the perfect compliment. The MX tour was very vibrant, full of colour and reflected the look of the album which as you probably know was heavily influenced by graffiti and its fluorescent / dayglo feel.

I always assumed they would be retired once the tour was over as then the band would be moving into a new phase.

An assumption is far from a conclusion though. So we might see them again , though it's not very likely. End of an era etcetera.

i never got to use one!!!! i hope they do something similar because if not i'm going to be extremely sad the rest of my life

Being a Coldplay fan is never dull, there's always something to be confused about. :confused:

They retired the butterflies and brought in M's and X's. My guess is we'll enjoy the new LP6bands just as much.
