I was watching TV the other day, and it was the beginning of 60 minutes, and then I thought : Oh, maybe it's the one with Coldplay! And it was :D! So I watched and taped it :D!

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

This song is just made for singing it out loud in the most inappropriat situations

Today when my mom and I were driving back from my a wedding shower, i kept hoping a coldplay song would come on the radio, and i kept switching the stations looking for one. and eventually, after i stopped switching and was just chilling there, SPEED OF SOUND CAME ON!!! It made me so happy!:D:dance: I love hearing coldplay on the radio! Especially, older songs!:) And then after it was over the dj guys said "off of x and y that was speed of sound by coldplay (and i couldn't stop smiling at the mentioning of coldplay on the radio) go check out their online take over at radio1045.com" ! :D

I saw a guy wearing the same sweater as Guy and Will today and I almost died

So I was waiting in the car while my friend was smoking weed (I don't do it; no worries), and we listened to Clocks on his random mix. Suddenly, he starts talking about how much it must suck to write a song like Clocks, because even though you achieved such fame with it, that means you're going to be stuck playing it at every single concert for the rest of your life, or else your fans might riot.

When I go see Coldplay in another 30 years (they'd better stick around that long), they're still gonna have to play Clocks. And Yellow and Speed of Sound and Viva La Vida. And believe me, I will indeed stage a riot if I don't hear them. Must suck to write hits, huh, boys?

Today on french Tv I saw an anchor who compared Coldplay with a soft labrador and kept making fun of them with a plush dog, telling their music is so so sweet... WTF it wasn't funny at all, and I just wanted to kill that stupid guy:D

I was at my soccer game today and was trying to block a pass and I did a kind of a this thing...

And I thought "Ohh! That's totally a Chris move!"

Then I thought shit! Why am I thinking of Coldplay in the middle of this big cup game?! Then I started focusing on the game again. :p

Did you win?

Yup :D

We're up in the final 8 teams now.

:laugh3:I thought the same thing once! But considering that they've made major improvements, it stays fresh for concertgoers, while still retaining the basic sound (and yes, that has driven some artists mad, having to perform the same song over and over and over..).:laugh3:

They're playing Coldplay at the Oscars!!!Lovers in Japan!!!

LOVERS IN JAPAN! OMG

yaaaaaaaaaaa!

its crazy!!!

next time the oscar goes to...Coldplay!!!:laugh3:

It fits with the whole slide show! It's such an honor for Coldplay! so happy for them

Ha yea I noticed that. The montage was really cute about romance movies it was perfect they showed gwyneth in ironman how ironic

Having to perform the same song over and over and over.. it would land me in the "nut hut"for sure!!!:laugh3:

I was coming home on the bus. And I had my iPod in my ears. So when I went to get off the bus.. I took my earphones out and realized that Clocks was playing on the bus radio.

I was a little bummed for missing it. Especially cause I was listening to "Get On Your Boots."

Things like that happen to me also because usually when I watch TV I switch between MTV and VH1... I'm really trying to switch regularly, but I always forget to check what's on the other channel when of course a Coldplay song is on that other, so I always see the ending. I really don't know how that happens.

Now, for my story:

We were on the informatics class today and we were programming. I was just sitting and doing nothing 'cause my friend was typing at the moment (we have 1 computer for 2 students in that classroom) and suddenly I heard my other friend saying something like "we should try 42"... :)

They played Spies on the radio today - I thought that was rather random. I can't imagine it's a song that gets much radio airplay. I was in the car driving home from work and it came on just as I was a few minutesaway from home, so as soon as I got in the house, I had to put the radio on in the house to listen to the end. Even tho' I've heard it millions of times already - I couldn't miss the end....I'm such a loser :)

I went to see The Script in my hometown yesterday.

So when the support act did leave the stage (Gary Go) they played some 'gap music' to rearrange instruments aso.

The mix was very good. Next to U2, they also played 'Human' and 'Somebody Told Me' by The Killers, 'Patience' by Take That' and I was so much reminded to the WarChild Gig and thought that only something from Coldplay was missing so I really freaked when I suddenly heard the first tunes of 'Fix You'

But the most special and amazing thing was, that the whole audience song along and I had goosebumps all over my body ... :stunned:

So nice!

There is a guy at my work that looks so much like jonny.

His body is similar to Chris's but he really looks a lot like a jonny. except with blue eyes instead of green.

It sucks that he's so quiet and never talks, otherwise i would talk to him.

I think he's intimidated or scared by me though.. and i don't know why. It just feels that way.
