I just saw a Coldplay interview from 2001, Chris reminds me of a more social (still shy) version of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory. Maybe I'm just tired . . .

YES!!!!

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

On the news they just interviewed someone named Charlie Brown

xD

:awesome:

Nope that wasn't the song.

 You were right of course! I told my friend that it reminded me of Fix You when she said that and she said of course it did. :P

Haha you scared me  I thought I failed at being a coldplayer lol.

I played shiver and yellow, on guitar hero today :D

oh and coldplay went down to #12 on VH1 top 20 countdown :(

It seems Coldplay is not letting me forget about them for a day. Today i was watching a new tv series called 'Fairly Legal' and at the end of the show the song 'In My Place' started and it lasted for the wholeeeeeee song. That was the only 4 good minutes from that episode. :laugh3:

No you were absolutely correct. :D

I know I saw that yesterday too. :/ But it was cool that I turned the tv right on at 10am to that channel and ETIAW began playing at that exact time. :)

RCT: I was at the lake today for a birthday party, and I layed down on the grass and listened to X&Y(album) all the way through; it was quite nice. :) Also they played a couple of Coldplay songs at the party:Clocks, Green Eyes, and Shiver. :)

i´ve been listening to one radio station 2 days in row (stupid reason) .. lots of good and familiar tracks from Muse, Keane, U2, Kasabian, Radiohead, Massive Attack, System of a Down, Gun´s N Roses, Foo-fighters and lots of other bands .. but WHERE THE HELL IS COLDPLAY.. why they haven´t played EVEN ONE song of COLDPLAY :/

One week til Paradise! I wonder if it'll be out in the UK before the US... if so, I can hear it in the US a few hours early! :sneaky:

Today I went back to school and my art teacher asked us what we did in the summer... So I said that the greatest thing I did was going to my favourite band's concert near Venice, and he asked me...

"Really? What band?"

Me: "Coldplay!" *thinking he probably doesn't know them anyway*

Teacher: "Coldplay?! Even I know them, they're great! I like them"

Me: :awesome:

I like how the new links create Coldplay songs in random sentences. I read things like 'hope all is well for you' and 'long time no talk'

So excited to hear "Paradise" in a week!!

^

But my heart is beating and my pulses start, cathedrals in my heart :wacky:

Thats all I have to say :D

aaaah LOST is being played in radio (finally!!!) now ...

I screamed and clapped so much that my flatmate was like: ¨what happened, Coldplay?? where?¨ haha

me too

im so excited for the new coldplay album!!!!

Rodie intrigues me so much by this:

¨Up In Flames feels the same (edit: compares to Fix You) to me right now. It’s immense. It was hypnotic in its simplicity, but devastatingly, achingly gorgeous¨

I already love Up In Flames, Can´t wait to listen to it now ..

Okay, so today I started college and we were put in groups to talk about what we had in common.

So for music I obviously said I love Coldplay :D The rest of my group said Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and stuff so as you can tell I got some weird looks when I mentioned Coldplay.

Anyway just wanted to say that I love CPing and all you guys that understand me

Me and my friend (who is as much into Coldplay as I am, her name is Frida like me haha :D) went inside an H&M store today and they played Major Minus!!! I went further into the store looking for some blue pants and I heard Jonny's guitar riff in the beginning and I RAN through almost the entire store back to her just to see her face and to experience the moment with her. It was such nice three and a half minutes. :nice:

Sorry about bringing a sad note into this, but I cannot help myself.

Two days ago I got the news that a very good friend of me died of a sudden heart failure. I really could not get my mind around this, it was so unreal.Today was her funeral but I could not go as she lived too far away. So on the way home from work I put my MP3-player and "42" came on and suddenly I started to cry and could not stop. Everyone on the bus looked at me but I did not care.

I really needed those tears, so thank you Coldplay for that.

I'm sorry for your loss  Coldplay or just music in general is great way of expressing how we feel inside. :)

I feel sorry to hear your loss. But indeed, Coldplay have this gift to help us to fix our bad days into better ones... I hope you can feel better soon

¨I've heard the new album, it's incredible. It's `different and it's amazing. It's exciting. "

why the word ¨different¨always scares me when it is used to describe coldplay album??

:\ I know VLV was different also but still good .. i am so anxious about MX, though i have high expectations on Up in Flames
