Dozens killed in Lebanon air raid

 

More than 54 civilians, at least 34 of them children, have been killed in a town in south Lebanon in the deadliest Israeli strike of the conflict so far.

Displaced families had been sheltering in the basement of a house in Qana, which was crushed after a direct hit.

 

Lebanon's prime minister denounced "Israeli war criminals" and cancelled talks with the US secretary of state.

I can see hizbolla is using civillians as a human shield but I can't see reasons why that human shield should be totally destroyed (the 56 casualties) without hitting their target :confused:

Hey, I'm sorry that my government is supporting Isreal.....your sorry about what Isreal has done today........I'm sure the Isreali people are mostly upset about this situation....but the fact is Olmert, Bush and Blair are not interested in making all out peace. They need fighting and destruction so that they have an excuse to go into these countries and take control - as well as eventually pulling Iran into this, one way or another.

I agree with you about most of that, but America had nothing to do with this, except they are making money by selling weapons. This was just a lucky break for the U.S. but for Israel this was a needed war that israel had not choice. As for Iraq and other wars they are money makers for the corrupt people in power.

I am not mad at you or anything, but how can you call the acts of Israel "terrorism"??? We attacked Lebanon in order to stop the shooting on the Israeli civillians.. it's not that we decided one day: "Hey, we're bored, let's go out for a war it should be fun..."

We do that only to defend our country, if we didn't do it, we wouldn't be here today or in the near future...

 

P.S. I am flying to Italy now, in a few hours from now, so I won't be here in the next 2 weeks!! hehe I guess you won't miss me too much..

Anyway I wish that war would be over soon and the hizbolla would stop shooting those missles on us!!(I wish they just would stop being an armed organization but that's a big wish)
