Ahh I'd forgotten it was so close! :D :D :D :D

Their cover of The Pixies' song Hey is absolutely amazing. Kavyen has a wonderful voice.

Too right! Thanks Bryce for the b-sides, I appreciate it.

Short and blegh quality, but here is a treat (somewhat)

Saw the band live last night at Sydney's Horden Pavilion. They were amazing! Great crowd interaction.

Well I already knew that the band are really good live since I saw them at Sound Relief, but last night was so much better 'cause there wasn't a sea of people between me and the band.

My friend and I got to the venue at around 6.30pm and there was barely anyone there! We found this very surprising 'cause usually by that time the line is around the block! But thankfully because no-one decided to come early we manage to get second row at the show, we could have been barrier if we pushed some people aside. :P

I guess the only bad part was that even though I was so close to the stage there was like a 6ft something tall guy standing in front of me (I'm only 5ft 1) and he knew he was blocking my view and was being cocky about it! :veryangry2:

lol that 6 foot guy at the front will be me at the 2 melb gigs, not cocky though!

Good to hear you had a great night!

Tall guys.

I'm not so big myself. Better get out of tauiwi's way.

lol sure... I am just tall-ish.

I'm short, that's why I always fight for front row :P

Glad you had fun (except for the tall guy part). 2 more weeks exactly for me till my show. What was the setlist like?

They played quite a bit from Black Fingernails, Red Wine and around half of Inshalla.

I think there was a song or two from Girl, including Sydney Song since they were in, well Sydney.

From The Sea was played as an encore.

They also brought out their opening acts during Life Is Better With You.

I'm not a huge fan so I didn't know all the songs they played. :embarassed:

But I'll definitely be prepared for the next time I see them!

Awesome! Songs from Girl!!

So there WAS another Coldplayer at Sound Relief. Giantus Guyus Disaster happened to me there as well, except since I'm 5'8 this meant he was something like 6'4 and blocking EVERYONE BEHIND HIM'S VIEW. @_@

lol 'Gigantus Guyus Disaster', the poor guy! And just get there earlier....

Didn't anyone else go to Sound Relief?

Sorry, kinda off topic.

GGD's

GGD's always have a way of making it to the front. I guess they wouldn't be a GGD if they're at the back (where we like them). Oh, to be taller. I wish.

Only 4 nights sleep!!!! Thursday and Friday! I'm going to be a mess on Saturday when it's all over. Some serious detox happing next weekend.

I did, I didn't think anyone else did though because nobody else mentioned they were going or did go at the time.
