I discovered The Kooks about 2months ago or so, when I watched the "Naive" videoclip on the tv and I thought: "oh, sounds good" but that was all.

 

Yesterday I went to a megastore, and by chance, I was able to listen to their album (I remembered the only song I knew of them, so I thought: why don't you check the rest of their songs to see if you also like them?), and after listening one, another one and so on I realized they were really good.

They remind me "The Beatles" somehow... don't you have the same feeling when you listen to their songs?

Mmm never thought it that way! But I have to agree about Seaside, I can never get enough of that song, so short and so perfect :nice:

 

 

By the way, for those who read some pages back about that french TV show where they participated, make sure you check the videos!

I don't know, they've done it before on radio, but this one was quite an event as there was audience! :laugh4: I'm just guessing, but they did look a bit nervous maybe? From their official board, I've heard the Birmingham gig was pretty crazy! All sorts of stuff were thrown and Luke got hit with a shoe! Isn't it hilarious? Its funny you should say that their music resembles The Beatles. Yesterday, I was talking to my friend and I usually school him on good music(Thank you very much! LMAO) But yeah, so I showed him Oh La. The first thing he said was: They sound a whole lot like The Beatles. I didnt actually think they did, but seeing now that two people think that they do..I'll seriously look into that.
