June 25, 200818 yr Are you saying that you cannot close your eyes right now and think of what a beautiful woman (or man, whatever your fancy) looks like to you? Do you know if you like girls that are brunette or blonde? Do you like a certain eye color? Do you want a potential 'mate' to have certain characteristics? Use your imagination. At your age, even with your lack of experience of any kind, you should be able to do that without the need of any visual aids. At this point in a young man's life (from what I understand) a slight breeze can cause an erection. It really doesn't need to be as difficult as you are making it. A slight breeze? Not for me anyway.
June 25, 200818 yr You should give motivational speeches to insecure teens. Trust me youll be better than Bill Cosby *shudders* Are you being sarcastic?
June 25, 200818 yr Are you being sarcastic? No Im dead serious. Youre mature and not afraid to talk about girls and guys. And anyone would be better than Bill Cosby whos book about SexEd was what we had to read. It wasnt a good read.
June 25, 200818 yr A slight breeze? Not for me anyway. And yes I can close my eyes and imagine but only real people not a completely made up person. So should I picture a celebrity or something, or the person I like? Cuz if its the person I like, I already feel dirty about it. How about this...the next time you are walking down the street and a beautiful person catches your eye...masturbate thinking about them. It is someone you will never meet nor have to have an emotional connection with. A person you know or a celebrity (even though you don't 'know' them in a real sense, you know of them...if you follow me) you will have a personal connection to. Doing that will take away any sort of feeling of guilt in performing the act. Does that make sense to you?

It wasnt a good read. Anyway your a great help you really should help out insecure teens with these problems. BTW I love your sig, I feel the same way! I thank you for your compliments, then. :D

June 25, 200818 yr And anyone would be better than Bill Cosby whos book about SexEd was what we had to read. It wasnt a good read. He wrote a book? I hated those SexEd classes they put you through in school.
June 25, 200818 yr He wrote a book? I hated those SexEd classes they put you through in school. Oh yes he wrote a book, and it was quite disturbing.:\
June 25, 200818 yr I think SexEd classes do more harm than good. :laugh3: But seriously though, the ones I took didn't talk about abstinence or protection! Just the human anatomy. And babies. :dozey:
June 25, 200818 yr So, you're saying that you put women on a pedestal, which ultimately makes them a celebratory figure. Interesting. Look, I can sit here and banter with you all night...BUT, I think that ultimately it's going to come down to this: You have already had dirty thoughts about someone. You know you have. So, here's the deal...if you have already had those dirty thoughts, why NOT masturbate? If it's an issue of sin...well, you've already sinned in your mind...which I am sure you are aware is worse in the eyes of the Higher Power (that I understand) than it is to act it out in the flesh. I would venture to say that those thoughts are fairly frequent, too. Just act on them. Masturbation is for YOU and YOU ALONE. Your Higher Power won't punish you for it, and you know why? Because we aren't perfect! We're human and as humans, we have a built in drive for sex. On the other side of that token, we as humans are also to take credit or the denial of that very, very basic human instinct. You don't have to apologize for your natural human needs. If you feel bad about it, talk to your Higher Power about it. I bet that you come to find that it is a very healthy way for you to progress into manhood.

June 25, 200818 yr Hey, we are all friends here...remember that. I'm sure that anyone either participating or reading in on this conversation tonight or any other time would think less of you for having been involved with this. You're a good kid. You just need to let go of some of your fears about it and try something different. Even if that means not taking part in masturbation. :shrugs
June 25, 200818 yr No, you haven't said too much, don't feel bad. We're not judging you. :) And I can see how you don't want to turn into one of those people that are like 'sex! sex! sex!' by masturbating. But I'm sure it won't. And it's nice that you don't want to turn women into sex objects. :nice: But it's ok to look at them in a sexual way, women have needs too! :laugh3:
June 25, 200818 yr LOL, I know. Or mine only talk about STD's, Ive seen more pictures of Gonorrhea than of condoms. First off, Im not religious, so its nothing to do with sin. Also, I do kind of put women on a pedestal. Thats why I compare myself to Chris Martin. He once made a quote that I really agree with : "Women are like chocolates. Each is unique and perfect in their own way." I believe stuff like that so Id almost rather deal with sexual angst than feel dirty about the way I look at women. Plus all the people I know who masturbate are jerks that only want to "score". I dont want to risk turning into that. I really feel like Ive said a bit too much about myself tonight. Maybe its because its 2:54 in the morning and I cant sleep (woke up at 12:33 PM). Anyway I hope no one looks at me any different and I hope tomorrow we can all kind of pretend like all this never happened. exactly were all friends here so dont worry about it
June 25, 200818 yr Sex is sensationalized in many ways, even in the way that Chris Martin referred to women in the quote you gave. Let me just tell you, putting women on a pedestal is dangerous.

June 25, 200818 yr thanks a lot. I just dont want everyone here thinking Im naive and super uptight or something. I do look, I do fantasize. I know everything a normal 16 year old should know, the only difference is I havent actually masturbated yet. That's it. So Im not like some little kid first asking where babies come from, I know it all. I just have my own preferences and I will do what I want when I feel the need to. Im not going to go masturbate now cuz you all said so (that would make me feel creepy anyway:wink3:), but if I feel I need to ever, just know, Ill be thinking of all of you the whole time. jk

You're right, women do have needs, too. If you guys think that we are all just dainty little creatures before you come into our world...you are sadly mistaken. :P
June 25, 200818 yr Let me just tell you, putting women on a pedestal is dangerous. well it depends on the kind of women you are........
June 25, 200818 yr but if I feel I need to ever, just know, Ill be thinking of all of you the whole time. jk Kidding or not, CHEERS to that! Ha! :laugh3:
June 25, 200818 yr well it depends on the kind of women you are........ I mean, emotionally. It may be a cynical view, but the harder you love the harder you fall when out of love. You know what I mean?
June 25, 200818 yr I mean, emotionally. It may be a cynical view, but the harder you love the harder you fall when out of love. You know what I mean? yep
June 25, 200818 yr I dunno if I buy into this whole "worth the wait" thing, but that's just me. I think it's sort of selfish and stupid for someone to "hold out" until marriage, which is just a social construct anyway. *has tomatoes thrown at him* yup, i agree with that. its a little different between guys and girls tho:\ I don't think there's a big difference. I mean, maybe girls just don't talk about it as much as guys do but yeah, they still do it! it's the same as when guys think that girls don't poo..yes we do m'dear. It's funny though, sometimes i even forget that myself! I'm think "huh, she's a girl...she must be all pure and she definitely DOESN'T do anything weird in the bathroom" At first I was a afraid of coming in here and wouldn't post much because in the beginning pages they were talking about sex and what turns them on and etc, which I know noooothing about yet  but I couldn't resist when you guys were talking about virginity. Yeah, I read this thread a lot. *Edit* Uh, yeah I take care of myself, I'm human! :P Amen
June 25, 200818 yr I mean, emotionally. It may be a cynical view, but the harder you love the harder you fall when out of love. You know what I mean? ooooo .then ya good point
