The other day my friend called Gainesville a "Huge Orgy" because everyone's sleeping with everyone, its so hollow.

Holy hell, lol. Talk about STD city.

But whatever' date=' if I end up happy, I dont care what they say. [/quote']

This is actually a great way to live, because it means you'll have far fewer regrets when you look back on your younger years.

It's a good thing.

not always. Sometimes being so "sexually mature" is a curse. Ever watch a movie and slip across something very hot that turns you on? Then what do you do? (Take care of yourself, if you know what Im saying:wink3:)

16 going on 25/60- That's a complement! That means you're more mature than a good 60% of people our age.

I can't tell you how many times I've been called a prude. :laugh3:

This is quickly becoming my favorite thread. I love these discussions, especially since this is actually a joke thread we turned serious. But its nice to have a place to talk to mature people about this stuff.

I'm in the same boat, but it's good outweighs the bad.

Thats exactly the mindset Ive been using.

Not to be disgusting, but has anyone here ever "taken care of themself"? I have never done it but my friends all say they have and that I should cuz itll make it easier to deal with waiting. Is that true?

At first I was a afraid of coming in here and wouldn't post much because in the beginning pages they were talking about sex and what turns them on and etc, which I know noooothing about yet  but I couldn't resist when you guys were talking about virginity.

Yeah, I read this thread a lot.

*Edit* Uh, yeah I take care of myself, I'm human! :P

Reminds me of a scrubs episode. I can't quote it word for word but i'll get it close; JD to Turk after Carla says no sex till their wedding night "Turk, why don't you take care of yourself" Turk "You know I don't do that. I've only done that like twice in my life" JD "Me too, if you mean since I got home"....

I remember that, so Im like Turk (minus two times) and my friends are like JD

Cold Showers actually work for guys, how?

I saw that episode, it's really funny, but sad at the end when JD was taking a shower because of Elliot. :/

There is nothing wrong with masturbation!

Agreed, it actually prevents prostate cancer later in life.

I know the two times Turk did it too. Oce probably when he was a teenager (to experiment) and then again in the episode where he had a nerve-racking surgery and Dr. Cox told him it lowered blood pressure so he did it. Those were his two times.

Does it really prevent prostate cancer? I thought that was only a rumour. Does it have any negative helath effects?

I have no clue how but it does and also thinking about "great aunt Trudie's arm fat"

I seriously do that in awkward situations, like at my friends party when mostly women played spin the bottle.(I felt like i was in high school again)

Yeah it does, several studies have confirmed this. It keeps the prostate clear of toxins that can build up there over time.

No negative health effects, either. I mean obviously you don't want to over do it... but don't feel guilty for it, either.

Masturbation is completely healthy and has no negative side effects, just wash your hands before and afterwards, please. :P

To answer the cold shower question:

It works pretty simply, the feeling of cold is a dominant one. Its like when you bump your arm and put ice on it, it doesnt hurt, it gets cold and then numb. So you cant continue to "go up" if its freezing cold. Its simple biology.

I don't like it too much.

what, cold showers or masturbation?

Did anyone here ever see the movie "40 Days and 40 Nights"?

ya ive seen that movie...it was funny
