Instead of a Polo, might I suggest a Fabia. Underneath they are the same car, but they are cheaper and actually better built

^Good in the city, not so good in the rural area^

this?

myeah, not bad actually..

@Lana, that car looks INSANE

The back side of it looks better than the front though hahah. I'd be too scared to drive with such a tiny car..even a bike could turn it over :uhoh:

I can't comment on the new fabia, but the old fabia is good

myeah it just looks sillier than the polo

I KNOW I KNOW! I'm a girl and i'm supposed to care only about the looks

I wonder what "škoda" means in Czech. It certainly doesn't have a good meaning in Slovene!

Well Skoda is a czech word so it should be skoda i think

This is my cali girl car that unfortunately isnt as fun to drive on the east coast (at least if theres expected storms).

and hopefully since they stopped making the del sol, my car after that will be an S2000. I love Hondas since Ive not had major problems and my Toyota Celica blew up on me (as a result of a stalker who wanted to kill me - oh the good ole college days). And if money werent an option id finally get my porsche 911 in cherry red!

I hate driving 3 doored hatchbacks, as I find the doors heavy and the pillar where the seat belt is mounted is back so it's hard to get the seat-belt fast

Although this isn't actually about a specific car I'd like to share with you lovely people that my hunk'o'junk car went for its MOT today.

This might not seem like a big deal, but I was so convinced it was going to fail spectacularly I had put it off for a month a half, walking and using (ick) the buses and had managed to save up a few hundred pound to fix it. So I take it in today, bracing myself for the worst and it passed! :stunned:

So now I have a few hundred pounds to spend on pretty clothes and shoes :nice:

The best place to take a car for it's MOT test is to a garage which does only MOTs, no repairs.

Another good site I have found is http://www.askmid.com, to check to see if your insurance company has done it's job and sent off your details, so you don't get stopped by da pigs.

I think my MOT is due soon, more money outflowing :(

That's exactly where mine went. Actually the wiper blades were broken but instead of failing it, he replaced them there and then, passed it and then charged me for the blades. Which was very kind of him.

I can't believe I walked everywhere for so long when I didn't need to though. Sigh.

This is the car my next door neighboor just bought

Mercedes S65

600 horse power, V12.

Party!

Shopping spree more like :P

A sensible girl would put it away for a rainy day, or towards their insurance or tax.

I'm not that girl

Sure it's powerful and all but to me it looks so soul less and conservative, and why do Mercedes and BMW insist on putting those stupid speed limiters on thier cars?, it seems like such a waste of time.

It's an old agreement they have with the German Green Party.

Ya thats true!!

It just seems kind of pointless building cars with so much power then limiting them to, 150 isn't it? I imagine the first thing people do when they buy them is have the limiter removed, I know I would but hell would be likely to freeze over before I bought a German car:P

I would imagine in future for 'green' reasons cars would be limited to 100 or so.

Anybody been caught speeding?
