StarsKay
the voices contrast extremely well, like in comparison with waylg? ... one of the best songs i've ever heard is definitely comforting sounds. words can not explain it. if only it went longer... Redundancy
wow now this is interesting! MS: So and tell me how did you get to meet the guys from Mew? Becky: hehe ok, the story is pretty long, but i'll try to make it short! MS: lol I'm not in a hurry Becky: Ok,I was 11 and I use to LOVE to chat on like chat lines, I was a big Hanson fan I have to admit :} haha Becky: So I would like to get on music chat lines and talk to other Hanson fans MS: lololol we all have those things I had the BSB syndrome so.. Becky: haha, well I asked did anyone like Hanson? and no one replied.. then this one guy (Jonas) private messaged me and said: "No, but what other music do you like?" MS: hehe so nice!!! Becky: so we started chatting and I told him I sang, and he told me he had a band and that he would like to hear me sing, so I sent him a video of me singing and after a lot of emails and phone calls, he asked if I would sing on their next album he sent me a demo of the song and of course I loved it ( it's beautiful) MS: gizz it is Becky: and so my mom and I decided to fly to Copenhagen when I was 13 and I recorded Symmetry, in a REAL studio *laugh*. That was such an experience to me.. MS: haha WOW yeah so SPECIAL!! Becky: And better yet, Jonas let my mom and I stay in his apartment so we wouldn't have to pay money to stay in a hotel and he stayed with his parents. Europe was so beautiful! I want to go back. StarsKay
wow, never knew that. wooooow, she is so lucky lol bloody hell, that makes me wanna start chatting in music chat rooms but i doubt that could happen again, ^ that was definitely a unique and once in a lifetime thing. it was meant to be. GazeboflossUK
Yeah, I'd read this a while ago. It's quite a bizarre story. If I started chatting to a girl who turned out to be 11 and I told her i wanted her to sing on my album - I think I would be in alot of trouble... But, glad this one worked out ok. Redundancy
right. i finished listening to it and for a first impression i really loved it. most of the songs are amazing if you take away 1 or 2 max which are nothing special but still good. ill be listening to it much more to get a better view on it. but for now an 8/
Redundancy
for all you Silas lovers. here's a very interesting video directed by Jonas himself :P its a short movie with Silas in it. using Apocalypso :nice: love the song.

StarsKay
great! [i take it that it was those 2 ?] lol good to hear. i find with their music you listen to it once, and you're hooked; you listen again and again because each time you hear something new that you missed before. GazeboflossUK
It's a hard song to play live.
StarsKay
I read somewhere that it is because it is very demanding that they don't play it live that often..but you're right, they definitely should, it was supposedly meant to be on the dvd as well. anyway it's one of my favs too, the beginning just sets the tone. at first it was apocalypso, special, zookeeper, then after hearing waylg? and tsrwfy... you can't help love the album, well i couldn't, the tracklisting is p e r f e c t . GazeboflossUK
Yeah, as I said before, It's a tough song to get right live....I can tell. I saw them live 3 times in the space of a couple of months and they didn't play it at any of the gigs. Typical.
