Anyone do it in any form?

 

I'm getting into card counting. For the past 2 months I've been memorising packs of cards for 2 hours every day, its god damn difficult but Im learning techniques to make it easier.

 

I tried it out for the first time at black jack a few nights ago and trebled my money so I could get christmas presents. I wasnt quite confident enough to risk staying in there for a killing, two of the six decks were about to get pretty useless.

 

If it goes well, you can earn enough to last a lifetime. Im just going to keep practicing.

Reilly... don't even get me started with gambling :sick: :/ I'm so addicted to it haha it's not even funny... I lose a lot but I win a lot too and yeah it's not good to gamble..

well mostly is bets.. I used to bet a lot of money but it's gotten down a bit now.. but it's still an addiction. I don't understand it. I'm so picky whenever I'm going to buy something.. but when it comes to gambling I always do it even if I keep thinking about it over and over and over again.. :sick:

Its fine if you dont have much money, generally.

 

The worst situation to be in is having a fair amount of money, so you could really just snap and spend everything.

 

But with me, what little money I get, I spend on useless things anyway so I may as well try my hand at gambling. And its paid off.

 

Gambling with machines, roulette and certain card games, thats pure chance and should only be done casually on rare occasions. As for black jack or poker, card counting takes ingenius math skill and hundreds of hours of practice to use effectively.

I like to gamble sometimes. With the shitload of money i have from working, i dont have enough things to spend it on.

My dad is a recovering compulsive gambler,maybe that's why I've never bet money when playing cards or any other game,I really hate it

^ i can relate. someone close to me has a problem with gambling and it has really made me hate the whole concept. casinos...don't get me started.

you may win now and then but you'll lost it all over again. gambling is a losing sport, there is no use in it.

harmless, casual gaming with friends all in good fun is fine, but gambling with the intention to win big, money-wise, is a different story, and that line is very fine. when winning big becomes the aim, you have to bet big and thus a chance of losing everything.

 

eh, i just hate it that's all....i hate the game, not the players as the saying goes...

I do the lottery when I can remember to do it, apart from that I don't gamble.
